No offense to Justin, he seems like a nice bloke and all. But his VE will NEVER be quicker than an FG. He's got full exhaust, intake, tune, 3:73 and TruTrac and he's only just broke into a 15.9 lol I'm rolling exhaust and intake with a tall as f**k diff ratio and doing mid 14's.

Yeah commodores aren't really competitive in the 6 cylinder market, however very competitive in the 8's.
What is the weight comparison between the two?

Remember Holden suffer a lot of driveline loss in comparison to fords. They have bigger flywheel hp, but less at the treads.

What a night!!
Headed out to Willowbank last night to give the car her last run down the track for the year. Relatively cool night, first run being 29 degrees. Temps were down as low as 23 by 8pm! Not busy even in the slightest, with minimal oil spills so cars were going all night. First run of the night pumped out my 14.434 @ 100mph, so was on par with my previous bests. Did a few 14.4's and 14.5's (8ish runs). Gave the car a break and let her cool down and also let temps drop while eating and talking s**t about commodores. Decided I'd just hold my foot flat to the floor on the line to allow the TB to be wide open on launch, and it worked! Dropped her down in a 14.235 @ 101 mph! So stoked about the results lol Finished the night off with a big powerskid for 200 metres down the track to show the Monaro how it's done (Monaro only ran like 14.8, so wasn't worth the hassle of staging lol) Gearbox is starting to slip going up into 3rd and 4th, so think it's time she got a service and a cooler before I take her back out to do it all again. How much modding did your dual 2.5" system require I'm about to get it done but the guy said it won't work and requires a lot of mods just to fit it up

Fits perfectly fine. Only issue I found was heat shield would touch around rear muffler.

So no modding of mounting points and having to cut things short he was talking about a y piece that it the turbos have and cuts to single pipe for turbo but isant that what ours does after the c

Oh yes, I forgot about that. Have to very a y piece from venom exhausts to weld in for cat. It's f**k all. Same ganging points, just a tiny bit of welding adjust for the cat
