Same system as that TRY THIS, except I opted for Mild Steel. It's less tin noise, and produces a deeper note.

Exhaust is on, will upload a video of start up and rev etc when I have the car under the shed before I do the under drives and headlights.

It's quiet while idling (can barely hear it on camera from inside car, but it's more of a deep purr than a rumble, not intrusive at all). At about 2000-3000 rpm it's next to impossible to hear over road noise, which is perfect. No crackling on gear changes, just clean deep exhaust note.

Am a little annoyed with the place I went to for install. They would not put my Venom cat in, as it didn't have an O2 sensor bung, so it wouldn't meet their emissions standards. So I've left the standard cat in, but it cost me an extra $100 to fit because obviously more pipework had to made to give room for the factory cat (which is huge...)
Will just get the place down the road to do it, in the mean time I'll gut it rofl (saves you having to gut a cat Josh). Not sure why they wouldn't turn a blind eye for the cat, but he gave me the option of putting in a Euro Emissions one for $580... Kindly said no lol a dual 2.5" exhaust, competition headers, highest flowing cat possible; and you want to put in an emissions cat rofl bright sparks aye.

Other than that, it sounds great and it's no where near loud enough to wake up the block YET (might get the middle muffler section removed at a later stage, probably when I get cams end of the year).

Off the line it's a little slower, but it makes up for it over 3000rpm where it pulls a fair chunk harder actually. You probably noticed on the video, I was barely accelerating and then I only did maybe 50% throttle, and it was at 110 before I knew it...

I was meant to say night mate, but my phone changed mate to mature, go figure.

Well by the time we get to drags I'll have a full tune done, so it won't be a super accurate on what the exhaust would give you. Once my intake goes on, it will be quicker yet again, likewise with underdrives (power all times with them).

Haha I already got them, just haven't put them on :)

The tune will waken it up the most.

So the underdrives are in, holy f*ck what a mission.

Also put my Narva Plus 100 globes in too, gotta love super bright light ^.^

While taking the radiator out, I had a moment of pure awesomeness, I drained the powerteering accidently! (forgot to clamp the hose, retarded right....)

So I thought trying to turn my missus starlet was hard without power steering, but dear lord i nearly pulled a muscle off the bone trying to turn an 1800kg car. Needless to say, never doing that again thankfully.

Had to drive to supercr4p to get some powersteering fluid. Needless to say, will not drain that f**k again... Trying to 400000 point turn an 1800kg car with no power steering gives you forearms like Popeye! But with the new fluid, the steering is a lot better than it previously was, so this is probably a blessing in disguise.

Because I now have power steering, I managed to see just how much difference the underdrives made. All I can say is that even with the dual 2.5" exhaust, it's now quicker off the line and through the entire rev range. Definitely worth the 6 odd hours of f*cking around yesterday (love pulling s**t apart without the workshop manual...) For anyone doubting the underdrives, hearing rumors etc about it affecting aircon, steering and charging; nothing was affected in a bad way. The aircon actually seems to be coming out colder and at a better rate on the lowest setting. Power steering is still perfectly fine, even at full lock. Have yet to check charging issues with the battery, but should never see an issue until I either get a sound system in or accidently leave lights on (not possible with the auto lights lol)

measure the battery voltage at idle with all lights/beams and accessories on.

you soon see if there lies a problem

How do I measure it? Get a multi metre and touch it to a battery terminal?

Also, what voltage should it be at? Just so I know :)
