Those Burger Fuel chicks look like possible jail bait, but hey I'd risk it for the one on the right

Car looks good mate, man I'd love to go to a decent run like this.

It's been a long time since I have visited your thread
Your car just goes from strength to strength and never looks like some amateur has been working on it. :)
Looks like you had a good time and the shocks sure look impressive. :D

The girls a VERY attractive but alas, about the age of my Gran daughters :(

Awesome mate. Burger Fuel GIRLS. Not ladies mate. Def' GIRLS.

Do they have any show spots where I could loose the right hand side of the car in some very long grass and fence it off with barbed wire????????? See you next year if they can accomodate that one.

Hahaha. Surely they must have been at least 18 though..

They have all sorts of spots in the show, if you find a spot in a consistent row of cars, it tends to hide things quite well. Worked for me, hiding all the small dings and a major league key scratch on the driver rear door lol.

LOL! They did look fairly young, but I'm sure they would have been at least 18. Well, you'd bloody hope so anyway! Pity the other 2 weren't around because they weren't too bad at all, plus they were a bit taller lol.

Thanks mate, doesn't look too bad I guess. Engine bay looks about as good as it could ever get without a shiny huffer off the side so I'm happy with that for now. Paint work still shines alright but the amount of tiny stonechips all over the front end is pushing me to get a respray done eventually.

Hey George, thanks for the kind words mate, appreciate it

I definitely had an awesome time. Seeing all the other Fords out and about the show, all the hard work, time and dedication put into their builds, it's gives me heaps of motivation to better what I have.

Was pretty good to see some girls out that had a keen interest in Fords. I had these 2 girls come up to me while I was by the Fairmont, saying "oh wow, the engine is so pretty, nice work" lol, by the looks of it they were twins, or very similar looking sisters at least. One of them had an EF Falcon so we had a quick chat about EF's for a bit after that, which felt rather weird because I've never actually had a decent conversation about cars with a chick before lol. They both turned up in a chopped XF 'convertible' hahaha, looked pretty good though :)

Haha cheers mate

Still have to upload my photos to photobucket once they are sorted. Here's a couple of pic's taken by a mate (the man behind Blitz Photography NZ) from NZfordforum, dude has some awesome skills with the camera 8-).

and your car is faaarrrkkiinnngggg beaut. i think it's about time i get myself a real paying job and put some effort in my sedan of love, lol. as always, keep it up mate.

Damn straight!!

I was pretty picky with the photos this time round, pretty much took photos of all the good ones lol. There were some really odd Ford's though, like this red Mk3 Cortina wagon that pulled up, with like 4 or 5 big f**k off tiger softtoys stuck on the bonnet and all over the roof - not sure how he was even let in

Hahaha, I think there would be a fair few guys around in NZ with decent stockpiles of rare ford parts. I guess it all comes down to finding the right parts at the right time and having deep pockets

It's hard when you do have good parts as you either have to put them on a car or store them properly otherwise they just get f**k from sitting around doing nothing.

Believe it or not I've sold most of my rare parts to wreckers. It's just so much easier than trying to deal with the public who all want the good stuff but are not willing to actually pay a decent price for it.

As you may know I had a few dashes out of EF models and now have a black interior to the major extent. After years of contanstantly being parked outisde, car has never once been a garage over night, the dash still looks good, the centre console cover has worn back to gray in patches as my arm is always sitting on it, being a manual.

I used five cans and did the dash, centre console lid and the door inserts. If you find the right product you can even door the velure with the stuff.

but yeah, pull it all apart mate!

Well well well... another weekend and yet another whole lot of rain!! Not good, can't even get any work done on the Fairmont this weekend.. :x

Been slowly gathering all the stuff needed for the boot install upgrade, which is planned for the next weekend coming since it's going to be a 4 day weekend being Easter and all. Should be plenty of time to get things re wired, get the Hertz comps in, amp's wired up, new box made up for subs etc etc. All weather dependent unfortunately, so if it rains I won't be bloody happy about it.

Speaking of plans, I finally actually got one plan put into action today and purchased the new mono block to run the subs. 1x E-Audio 1000D thank you sir!! Pretty stoked with the purchase even if it has left me strapped for cash this week. Managed to get it a fair bit cheaper than what the guy wanted for it, and for the price I got both amp's for in 2nd hand but pretty much like BNIB condition, it was a dead set steal!! The E-Audio amps are some sexy looking things, can't wait to finally put them to good use

Also received 2 sets of Stinger Pro RCA's a couple of weeks ago in the post and a Stinger dual 0ga distribution lug with a couple of right angle'd RCA adaptors.

Group shot

We'll see how long this setup keeps me happy for, lol.

i'll let you be the judge of those subs, but those amps look mighty fine, make sure you let us know if you got yourself a new massuese or just some thumpers out of those babies.

Haha will do. At the moment I'm wanting a more SQ based system rather than something that just goes loud and that's exactly what I'm expecting from the IDQ12v2's. They are very well known for their SQ abilities rather than overall output so will be interesting to see how they sound. I reckon it'll be nice change coming from something that just pounds hard and hits low notes wickedly :)
