Cheers George, I have to admit I was in the same boat before I attempted it. Glad it turned out decent though, took me a fair bit of bloody time to wrap them

very sleek and euro looking, i like, hints power.
i'm too much of a fan of the woodgrain and chrome to do similar, that and i just scored a mint woodgrain shift knob from the wreckers for if i get round to a t5 swap.
would be an idea for the gauge surround i recon. (hint hint  )

Cheers Teeroy, the euro kind of look is what I'm trying to go for, similar to what some of the BMW interiors look like with black/cream theme.

You talking about the instrument cluster faceplate/surround? If so, that's already done :P

I swear it's not something I'll try doing again anytime soon, from memory it took me near on 2 hours to wrap that piece, what a f**k mission!

Cheers bud :)

Did a dummy fit of the door spears yesterday and they seem to look alright, they go very well with the black, but still a bit hard to tell how well they work with the rest of the cappa interior. Then again I was a bit drunk so who knows, I guess we'll find out how well they look once they are fitted.

Here's hoping the weather plays nice this weekend both here and across the ditch, I've got work to do and want to watch a decent race at Bathurst :P

Dropped my car today and ripped off rear spoiler. Currently happy :)

Again, we think alike.
I love my chrome and woodgrain too much to wrap my spears in vinyl.
I might give the cluster surround a go, in that white vinyl I picked up... I reckon that would come up pretty nicely.

Cheers Deff, yeah mate we'll definitely have to catch up sometime and have a chat about these bloody Fords. I'm keen to hear about your plans for charging the BA

Haha, I couldn't bear to wrap my LTD woodgrain, the stuff is too sexy to tamper with. Fairlane/Fairmont Ghia woodgrain I have no problems with wrapping though, so that's what I used :P

Anyways, got the carbon fiber'd bits put in today. Went down to Supercheap to grab a thermostat and came across some thin mould and badge adhesive tape. I used that on the back side of the spears right along the edges that contact the door trim and it works brilliantly and sticks like s**t to a blanket

Turned out quite decent I think, doesn't look too "out there" and ties in with the black well. Very hard to photograph the stuff though so the pic's I got are pretty s**t. Interior really needs a good clean too, there's scuff marks everywhere from my workboots on the kick panels, scuff plates, floor mats. Sucks trying to keep a daily clean :x

Just need to start thinking about what I'll do with the seats as they look so out of place right now lol. Also need to spray the rear door armrests in satin black as they still haven't been done, and decide on what to do with the bottom of the rear doors - not sure whether I should track down some Ghia rear map pocket pieces of just chuck some 4" coaxials in the stock trim to try fill it in a bit

I've had to put off my brake pad and rotor purchase for another week or so now due to an impulse purchase today

Some Image Dynamics ID12v3 sub's came up for grabs BNIB for $100 a pop so I secured myself a pair for $180 before I miss out . Being the entry level sub's in the V3 range, I'm expecting to lose out a bit on the SQ abilities of the IDQ's, but apparently the ID12v3 are an awesome sub so I can't wait to give them a go.

Hoping they will have that bit extra in the way of overall output over the IDQ12v2's. Should have them sometime during this week/next week so I'll get pic's up then :)

Cheers Troy! Yeah I wasn't expecting it to be as subtle as it is, thought it may have looked a little out of place but it seems to fit in pretty nicely. Something a little different from the norm which is good I guess.

Lol about the sub's. There's no limit to how many sub's a man needs . Will probably just have to chuck the old ones somewhere in my audio stockpile that's starting to take over my storage space in the cupboard haha.
