hey guys. i thought i might start a thread on my NL, its a May 97 with leather interior, so far, what I've done to it so far is ...

Most of the work I do, is at my work, I work for a Auto/Diff/Radiator company.

All this work has been manily carried out myself .. by a chick!!! woot! hehehe
New Motor
I think its a RPD cam, it has about 4 Shims in each rocker arm
2800 highstall
3.45LSD (3.71's are coming though work)
17" Speedy Longchamp wheels
2 1/2 inch cat back system
AU Injectors
Lowered springs
EX-COP ECU
Alloy Tailshalf
Rear XR6 Spolier
Alarm (with 6 aux outs)
Truck Auto Cooler
4 6" 80W Response Speakers
6 tweeters, (all jaycar) Vifa and Repsonse
Two amps 1 1000W amp, and 1 300W amp
Sony MP3/WMA/DVD head unit.
10inch Pioneer SUB
2000W Intvertor for my caravan (32ft van)
Twin Battery system
Window Tint
25W UHF with police scanning

Now, stuff it needs
New or fix the valve body in the auto, the 1/2 soilnoid is is sticky, its not hard to do, just put it on a hoist and take off the pan, filter, remove valve body, and use a a fine 2cm brush in the soiloid housing.
Needs new ball joints,
Needs new Rotor, (i don't know what the person did to them before I got it!!!) just of always when come to a stop, kept foot on brake hard. so it shakes when I brake.
Oil Pressure sender
Headlight switch! The plastic dimmer part broke, so i found a EA one that im using for $3 from the wreckers.
hand brake adjustment.

I'll post some Photo's up soon!

Laticia ... (the working on car chick!!)

I put a BA falcon exhaust cover on the mainfold, had to angle grind a little off, but it makes the engine bay look so much better!!

hey again, I did not like the indicator lights that used to come on with the head lights when your turning, so I've wired them up to a ACC so they are day running lights. I think it looks good with just parkers on and the bottom lights on during the day .....

The mod I'm going to do today, is use my car alarm, to keep the thermos's running for 30sec's after you turn off the motor ... Does anyone know if the fans come on with a Neg or Pos power???

Nice lane!!

May i ask why you want to keep the fans running after you turn the car off?
Are you fitting a turbo or what?
I dont mean to be rude, it wouldent hurt to have the fans running for 30 seconds after you shut the car off it just normally you do it on a car with a turbo aswell as keeping the motor running to cool down the turbo

Thanks! I think it rocks for a chicks car!!! No stupid pink paint on it!!!

my alarm system has aux outs, that can be send power i.e. to keep healights on. to 30sec's 60sec's 90'sec when armed,
Or, if that fails me, i've got a turbo timer kit which im gonna try and make!!!

Laticia!

so what you saying is your fans will turn off when the car is switched off and come on again when you arm the alarm, i agree with fordfairmont.

people might think there is a problem under there i would reconsider it

no no, not quite, the fans will only come on for 30secs when you turn the key off. then they turn off after 30sec's (like a turbo timer), i have another temp sensor that will only turn the fans on for 30 secs when its warm enough....
