There is a LOT more work to get an AU motor to fit in your EF wagon, than to swap a few parts from your EF engine to the EL engine.

man its enough work pulling a motor out. im gonna look for EF motor, dont need nothing specail anyway, its only a car for me to get parts, transport my bike with trailer, and for the missus to drive. {USERNAME} wrote: yeh thats true enough sweet mines on 2 inch blocks which makes it pretty much level if you get what i mean? yeh the back sticks up in the waggins, i wana pull the back down like 4 inchs at least, have it sit around same hieght as super lows in sedan.

i dont do this stuff, my patience level is not enough to toy around with cars like this. so i usely pay me old man to take it in town with him and get some one else to do it lol

Mate, the Fordmods sticker on the car is a misnomer if you don't give it a go. Just chucking wheels on and lowering it isn't modding anything. Really matey, it is a bloody simple job to put your EL into the car, maybe an hour or two doing it slowly. If you can pull an engine out, you can do the swap......

sorry... i ment wont end up doing anything in the lowering an wheels part, i want the motor in. and ill get it running more then likly next satday. i wont abonden that to easily. but i dont wana spend much money on wheels and the rest of the crap i was going to do from the start, as im trying to save for a house, so im just gona get the motor in and probly go no further.
and besides last night missus said she doesnt like the waggin anymore, she wants a fairmont sedan GRRRR

problemo occurred this morning, the fella that was helping me with motor on satday rang up, said the distributor wont detach from the 120km motor, no matter what he tried it wouldnt detach.
anyone got any ideas? as it gotta come off to make room for coil pack........................

ok its final, not going through with this anymore. boss is wignen and missus is wingen she wants sedan now etc etc and i got a camber issue to take care of with the money i get back from the wagon.
