$1k for 3.45LSD is too much! maybe $300 + install as a top end figure!

$1000 FOR A SECOND HAND LSD?!!!

What? i paid $700 for a fully rebuilt LSD with 3.9 gears.

$100 for the gears i sourced myself
$200 for the machine work for the centre so the cones contact hard (no leggers randomly for me)
and the other $400 was for bearings, seals and labour

Its not uncommon to pay $1000 for brand new gears, rebuilt centre, bearings, shims and labour.

Its one of those jobs best left to a proffesional to do.

2100, bugger that you could get 5 years worth of second hand lsd's and keep them in the shed until you shag them all out for that price lol

haha 5 years worth gold! i picked up a second hand lsd for 120, then again didn't last long, best bets i think would be to get your diff gear ratios changed and ask them to replace/fix anything else they find shagged. Well that's my plan
