With my company XEC Ltd, Quality Assurance work for Roading Contractors, Local Authorites, NZTA. And in line Six Ford engine building, automatic transmission adaptors, some EFI and Datalogging work. Down by where the Olde Kirk is now, I used to glide past every night after my Cleaning shift at Consulancy house, and see LTDXTC parked outside, and I'd love it. Had to wipe my mush from all the dribbling...'s nice! Ah yes I know the one, easy to spot around town in a sea of Corollas! I had mates who lived on Bond street, must have seen me parked there while I was visiting them as I lived out in Mosgiel at the time, now I live on Taieri Road. I don't know if you'd dribble anymore haha, the last couple of winters have been harsh on the old girl and now the clear coat is peeling just about everywhere apart from the doors. Bonnet is almost completely peeled and the boot is going the same way. A shame it won't fit in the garage! Had to send the QH back to Moates for repair, hoping it's not lost as I haven't had an update on the order or a reply from support haha.... Luke from AXE Performance has sorted me out with a sweet tune of his, now running an A9L adapted for the Aussie EEC. I've gone through some patches where I think if I could sell it, I would. But no one will buy a terrible running car with bad paint and I don't think I could bring myself to actually let go of it. So once my chip gets back to me, hopefully Luke can work his magic on the tune and after 5 years of chasing my tail I might be able to enjoy driving the thing! |
