the cop car comment was a passing comment from a guy at work, not a look i was going for
i'm sure "most people" will like the car with the rim's i have in mind
but everyone has different tastes, that's what forum's are for :P

LOL got to agree and who would want a car that looks like a worn out US cop car, unless your name was Jake and Elwood.

i did some power run's today, to see where i'm at before i go any further.
it's about where i thought it'd be power wise.....
it still has to be tuned, but i wont do so until i've done a couple of other thing's to it.

it's hard to say, i did want to see 200rwkw's today, but i'm not that far off
the average that i've seen in thread's tuned is around 210-220 rwkw's...
(stock motor, cai & exhaust) which is what i've done so far.
it go's ok for a big car, but like most people.... a little more power would be good

Hey man,
nice run video there. Is the revving sound from yours?

Sweet ride, I love the LTDs. All black too, as mentioned before...plenty of pimp potential.

I must admit though I had to go to a quiet area when I saw the G220 on page one though. LOL. It's crazy. Almost has a HSV look for the first second from the front.

i was one of the slowest there on the day, but for me it's all about measuring the gain's from new mod's done.

a small update.....
a couple more part's came over from the state's earlier this week in the form of 2 new cam phaser's, or "cam position sensor's" as they say over there ;)
i was quoted $600+ each from ford here, the best i could find on the net from aust was $385 each + postage from perth.
thanks to a link to a ford dealer's ebay site in the state's from another forum, i got 2 of them and shipping to my door for just over $420

Image
Image

i've already got the phaser limiter's (for bigger cams) to suit these....

Image

so now it's just deciding what cam's i'm going to go with and order them
also the auto is just about to be rebuilt, so a hi-stall will be put in..what size depends on what cams i go with.
the diff & gears are next after the auto so all is ready for the engine upgrade.
