the car go's in for a.....auto trans service :wink: & external trans fluid cooler tomorrow.
a couple of thing's got over the w/end,
some "black background" BA h/light's.... (to replace the chrome std one's), to get the tough look.
and a "F6" air box intake snorkel.

and some more chrome...... in the form of a new door lock button :P

sorry, i can't help you there..... maybe someone else may know ?
on my build side of thing's, i've picked up the bit's for my custom intake tube.
so the air box, intake tube, and headlight's should be done this w/end (pic's to follow) :wink:

ashanti somethings. fromt the states. Goolgle Ashanti Rims are you should find there site. They make the worlds most expencive rims though, One set was $1,000,000!!! :shock:

One thing, though. Did you remove the cornering lights from the front bumper and blank the holes, or maybe it's had a quickie front-end crash repair?

i'm prety sure that some came out with the cornering lights and some didn't..
it was something to do with not complying with ADR's.
i'm sure steve will know though..

I believe that in 2002 with the BA launch, those lights were supposed to be fog lights but they didn't comply with ADR. There was a factory recall and the cars were re-wired to make them cornering lights. They were standard on BA Fairmont Ghia, Fairlane and LTD.
Every BA (or BF) LTD I've seen appears to have those lights, unless they've been removed for whatever reason.

i've no idea why it has'nt got them, but i'll be getting a new front bar when i tidy the outside of the car up & a new set will be going in :wink:
it was another thing i factored in to the "clean up" budget...... being that the car was so cheap to buy.

You're doing some great things with the car. Good that the woodgrain all matches now.
As fordfreak ef said, it's interesting to see something done with a B series LTD. :)
