You might also want to consider charcoal "suede" on the rear map pockets (back of the front seats) and the front map pockets (on the front door trims). BF LTD and Fairlane got charcoal or beige suede there, as well as BF Mk2 Fairmont Ghia. It breaks up the plastic look.
I went to a motor trimmer and had it done to my car. He sourced some which is UV resistant, and appears to be a bit more durable than the factory material.
(Pics are not my car.)

Looking good steve, as for the piano black trim, mine has quite a few light marks in it so I plan on replacing them in a few months, I could sell you my old ones cheap cheap cheap if your keen.

Cheers,
Kyle

Welcome to the LTD club :D Great looking car and would sure check every box on my list of must have's. V8, Roof, Sat Nav and BLACK! I waited 3 months looking for a black AU LTD but nothing ever came up.

There's not much that needs improving on with these things, just keep it tasteful and look after her. you've got a gem :)

a small update, with the AFF drag meet yesterday i got my finger out & did the intake pipe (i've had the part's for week's) :?
it's a 3.5" stainless pipe (should polish up well) & some joiner's i got from a truck bit's place....
thanks to kev "schmee" for info on the place :good:

Image

i just put on a breather i had left over from my 5l part's.

Image

how it looks...i've alot of room on the pipe & will shorten the rubber on the airbox side.

Image

i'll have to notch out the cover where the breather is for the cover to sit flat, or plumb in the factory breather to the new pipe.

well the intake works well, i did a few run's in "all stock" trim, with a best of 15.29@94.86 mph.
then i put the intake pipe on & did a best of 14.95@96.36 mph :yahoo:

it's got me motivated again to fast track more mod's

thanks, it'll be a bit of a "slow burner" build....
next will be the full exhaust system along with getting the cam phaser's done & tune.
i've got a wheel that i like, but keeping it abit hush hush at the minute
ride height, i'd say super low's allround.... to be daily driver freindly.

Maybe it's just the tint and shadows but looks like the roof has been chopped a few inches. Love it.
