Are my eyes deceiving me? No balance pipe on the exhaust?

i went in to chat to barney about a balance pipe yesterday,
only to be informed that the section he put in allready has an oval shaped balance port  ....
which explains the weld's between the pipe's.

i hope to have it on the dyno before the AFF drag meet to see what gains have been made from the latest mod's.

with the new exhaust on and the F6 extra snorkel for the airbox along with a k&n filter, i competed at the AFF nats last w/end and come away with a new pb for the car.
of the 7 run's i did, the cleanest and best run was the third run with a 14.48@99.65mph.
the slip from my best run, which was against a bf cobra r-spec.

Image

i did have traction issue's on a couple of run's... (being a single spinner) it spun of the line a couple of time's,
and on a couple i late shifted and hit the limiter
i feel it could go 1 or 2 tenth's quicker ?
but it's where i thought it'd be, being it still has the stock tune.
i'll be running the steelie's at calder, so i dont expect the time's to drop....
i'll just be looking at working on my reaction time's and gear change's
with alot of camera's in your face along with the dvd camera people, it was hard not to rip a skid :P

my brother in his stock XR-T also dropped .5 off his pb & is down to 14.2.
he got some steam up after i ran the 14.4 :P

Nice figures man, good to see the LTD is being put through its paces 8-). A custom tune will liven her up a fair bit i would think, combined with shorter diff gears, it'll go real well

Nice car, mate!
Friends of mine bought 2004 LTD last month and were surprised how much attention this car attracting.
I was sure that all LTD's have factory LSD.

Im going to make a prediction that diff gears and tune will drop you at least into the high 13's. Is an LSD on the cards with gears?

+1 for liking this car :)

lsd & gear's will be done & as will a tune, i'll be at calder next week to see if i can edge a bit closer to a 13 ?
a think it'll go a tad quicker (in it's current spec) if i can link a good start.. no wheel spin, and good shift's.
i'm keen to hear from anyone with a 3v lwb car, to compare time's etc to see how i'm going with the mod's i've done.
