As most would know, i got a new car !!!!
it's a '03, BA-LTD, 5.4, silhouette, black leather, sunroof, sat-nav, etc etc.
it's a ex-gen/manager's car that has been sitting for the best part of 12 mth's with 146,xxx klm's when i picked it up.
i got it for $14,000 (market value is alot higher).... & yes.... some work need's to be done  but if all go's well .....
i should end up alot better off than paying a higher price for a std car 8-)
all going well ? this should turnout to be a .... ummmm ...... a very good car.
i'm not going to say much, i'll jut post up some pic's of it "now" (after 4 wash's to get the bug's off)

the pic's come up well, (inside pic's to come) but those who've seen it know there's some work to be done (nothing major)
overall, the base is there..... i've just got to build on it .

here are some shot's of inside the car (as i got it), ****have just got window tint done**** & will give the inside's a going over once the tint has cured.
i've now got the sunroof i've always wanted.....

Image

all in all the inside of the car is good, just needs a good clean & conditioning .

Image

the drivers' seat has some wear (to be expected) but no damage.

Image

i'll be keeping most of the "LTD" trim's (as not many were made) & doing some small change's to keep the black/chrome theme,
door handle's i'll be going for the chrome option.

Image

the sat/nav with remote is great ! i'm also wanting to go the "piano black" console upgrade.

Image

the auto shift insert is not matching the woodgrain trim's (fairlane maybe) ???
so got a new one with the LTD logo, along with some new "LTD" scuff plate insert's.

Image

the boot is huge, heaps of room for a sub (or six).

Image

with most of the "engine upgrade part's" from the fairlane build sold, along with the "SLY5LT" plate's.... also sold,
soon the 'lane will be on the market & the LTD will start to come to life 8-)

a couple of pic's taken with the new tint.

before/after.....

the tint was done at "the sunroof factory" in noble park, and is "black azz" tint... 35% allround.
with the dark interior it looks darker than it is ! & are happy with the result.

*yes it will be lowered* on what rim's i'm not 100% sure yet.
my main focus is on the the engine/driveline first, the the rest will follow

feel free to comment

that car has major pimp potential. The only things I'd want different is the china beige leather as well as the chrome handles and black console that youve already mentioned.
