Boot lip spoiler ordered through fibresports 8-)
Payment will be made Friday (payday) and should arrive next week some time!
For those interested, it's costing $190 posted unpainted.
They quoted me $330 painted and posted.
Not bad if you ask me!

Will be going down to pick n Payless on the weekend to look for a straight bootlid then I'll hopefully get that part of painting sorted fairly soon!
(if anybody knows of a spray painter that does good cash jobs let me know!)

Well small update,
Haven't gotten a bootlip spoiler yet, other things keep sucking money out of me atm like a holiday :(
Waiting upon a reply email from fibresports, but I may have it by the end of the week :o
I have however purchased one of these:

Image

Its a sprint lower lip for the front bar 8-)
Only reason it was bought was that it was going for a good price so I couldn't resfuse!
Still uuming and arring whether or not I want to put it on so its currently for sale for the right price...

Got really bored the saturday just passed, playing forza all morning with soccer being cancelled really does get boring and dodgy weather doesn't help!
So I decided to pull the front bar off and straighten it out...
"Exciting pics with no front bar/headlights"

Image

I liked this shot so:

Image

There were many screws missing lol and the numerous hits its copped throughout the years resulted in metal and s**t being bent so I did the best I could.
Also cleaned the engine bay while I was bored:

Image

Image

Image

Again, I just liked these shots 8-) :

I'm trying to save for a new coolant and windscreen fluid bottle as these have aged and faded badly!

Woke up early Sunday morning and decided to wash her due to the nice sunny weather, I really hate iphone pics now and need to invest in a better camera!
pics:

(excuse s**t picz)
Can't really tell but its definitely straighter!

Anyway, I've been talked out of going with an all out respray including body work etc due to it being a daily and it having reasonably good paint on both sides so it'll just be getting front bar, bonnet, roof, boot holes drilled and the front guard dent pulled out.
Ringing my mate tomorrow to organise a date
(Hopefully before AFD but not likely unfortunately  )

I'm off on a cruise (on a boat mufukkaa) next week so no updates will be made for a while!
If the EB's seen driving around it'll either be stolen or dad will be reminiscing on his younger days hooning around...

Thanks, Luke

Want to come around and clean my engine? Mine is sort of maroon now. I'll even let you sit in the Ghia seats.

Pictures tell a thousand words, but it this case not really.
Boot lip spoiler arrived!
If my boot didn't have gay holes in it I'd be painting this spoiler myself to fit by the end of the week but ehh

Very keen to put it on!

Cheers, Luke

Very cool. The first photo, I was like 'What is that? A wiper blade?' The rubber ones make a good bump stop. I think that was the previous owner of my car's attitude.

Hahaha I realised the lounge wasn't a good backdrop for taking pictures after I'd already taken them!
Yeah I can see how they would be good, except tow bars fortunately work better
If you're ever after a new one, $190 delivered from fibresports in primer!

They removed the gooseneck for some reason and then sold it without one. Good thing it's a genuine ford bar so it was easy getting a new one.

This won't be ready for AFD, not too fussed as I'd rather my mate take his time.
Plans are to respray the grey moulding and red strip before AFD though and maybe polish up the rims etc...
I'll just give it a general tidy up hopefully!
Off on a cruise today, things on this will start soon 8-)

Well I had today off as of 9am, boss said he'd call if he needed me and it got to around 9am and I just thought ehh screw it. Plans were to start tidying a few things up on the car and maybe duck in to pick n payless but the girlfriend had the day off today too so we compromised and went for a drive

I decided to head out to wisemans ferry as it'd been yonks since I'd been out there and having never driven there myself, I've realized that the roads are so fun 8-)
We hopped on the car boat thingo and headed to st albans Inn or whatever it is there for some lunch.
The sealed road to St Albans was actually quite fun too, the dirt road on the way back was, uum, hard to keep traction :P

We headed back along wisemans ferry road then through pitt town and onto windsor rd because the girlfriend had work but I think theres another road thats a bit longer but has lots of bends that i would've liked to have used but ah well, next time 8-)
All up It was about a 160km round trip and I'm pleased to say the car performed flawlessly, it was such an enjoyable drive especially being able to give the car a bit of stick!
Only negatives of the day were I got told to slow down lots and the car needs a wheel alignment and new front brake pads *sigh*

Anyway weather permitting this weekend I'd like to try and tidy up the front bar paint wise as best as I can, will just sand a few areas and roughly spray them for the time being and I'd like to redo the grey and red parts too.
*Does anybody know what the actual grey and red colours are so I can buy paint?

Image
Quick pit stop at Wisemans Ferry before heading home, she's a bit dirty...

Cheers, Luke

Today in preparation for AFD I decided to clay bar the whole car (mainly the bonnet) to see how much of a difference it would make...
So much crap came off the car it was kinda unbelievable lol, I don't know whether I did it properly though but its definitely made the car look a lot more shiny!
Unfortunately it didn't do much to the bonnet so next weekend I will buff the s**t out of it with some of the black colour cure stuff 8-)

I also bought a new camera, so no more crap iphone pics!
I'm Still learning how to use it properly as I've never used a DSLR camera before...
Before clay bar:

This pic shows how bad the bonnet is:

After clay bar:

This picture isn't in the sun so I couldn't tell if the clay bar did anything, just looks more shiny lol

YEP, I went very overboard lol!!!
It just makes the pictures come out so good, so expect lots of pics of all your cars at AFD!

Thanks, Luke
