Hey Luke,

Good to meet you on Sunday.

Part number for the shifter bushings, if you are interested, is: 68AB 7A133 AA. Price is $3.86 ea + GST.

Evan.

Same with you Ev!
Will probably see you driving around haha
Thanks, appreciate that mate
Think i'm just going to take it to get the box serviced in the next month or two so might get them to do them depending on how much they charge!

Cheers!

You have a pretty tidy example there mate, and with a little more love it will be a very very tidy example! Keep at it, they are good car's, and when looked after should see many more years of service.

I guess I'm a little biased towards the Eb's, owning 3 of them lol.

Cheers

Cool looking boxcar mate,
I'm a sucker for anything clear, so the clear indicators and repeaters look awesome.
But those rear ventians don't sit with me as well as the indicators etc do... but hey, it's your car!
How do those Dark Agents look?

Thanks REW93N!!

Yeah clear indicators make so much of difference it's amazing haha
The venetians have been on it since it was bought and before that on another EB my folks had from new so they kinda look right to me (sounds so stupid I know  )
About to update thread now but i've only tried one on for the moment and have decided on some other rims if these sell!

Cheers, Luke

Well haven't updated this in a while...
Went for a cruise to bathurst with some of the fordmods crew back in October.
Car went surprisingly well giving it a few "spirited" laps around the mountain haha
Was an awesome day out and will definitely be attending another cruise albeit the next bathurst one!
Only downside was forgetting my camera
So only got a few average iphone pics:

and my fav:

(Think i stole this from someone in the cruise thread lol, so thanks!)

Tried one of the Dark argents on and they do look good!

However 19's seem a bit impractical to me for daily duties in regards to potholes so they're up for sale along with other crap:

ford-parts-for-sale-f17/fs-19-pre-au-dark-argents-eb-ghia-headrests-fpv-centre-caps-t108922.html

Also got some "HID look" globes for it..
They actually look quite good and are tonnes brighter then standard globes!
Just need new headlights/clean the inside glass :(

Other plans for it are to change the interior globes over to LED's and depending which way I go with wheels, lowering it another inch or so all round!
Another plan (eventually) is to spray the insides of the indicators black as they stand out a little too much for my liking!
Also still looking for a bootlip spoiler when funds permit

That's about all for now :)

Cheers, Luke

Those dark agents or argents (?) actually look pretty good. But, as you said, roads around here are rough enough without 45 series rubber lol.

The LED interior lights is something I want to do as well. Already replaced the festoon globe in the main lamp. Have to get the rear reading lamps off eBay or something.

Well I'm pretty sure they're known as dark "argents" in technical terms but most people refer to them as dark "agents" lol, I'm guessing...

I got impatient this afternoon as its too hot to do anything inside so ripped the dash apart and put some blue LED's in to match my head unit haha..
Will get pics tomorrow!
But yep the middle light, rear reading lights and map lights still need to be done in white LED's.

Nice EB mate! Looks fantastic in black...
Where did you get your clear indicators from? I'd like a pair for one of my EB's.
And you should keep the dark argents for special occasions, they look awesome!
Thanks

Still waiting on some blue LED's for the aircon though :/

Cheers mate :)
Clear indicators can be found on ebay!
Yeah if they don't sell i'll probably keep them but I really just want to find a set of 17's - 18's...
Not too keen on changing rims over every week haha

Okay thanks, I'll have a look.
And yeah fair enough, I change the tyres on my 4Runner all the time, and it is quite a pain!

Not much to update, Replaced the tyres for some bridgestone potenza 225-60-15's...
Grips much better now considering the old potenzas were quite worn!
Also picked up and XH snorkel off snap0964 over the weekend and installed it today:

Image

Engine bay needs a clean..
Let the car idle for a few mins then took it for a good half hour drive.
Could only give it a bit of stick within reason due to the weather but it seems to have more torque as it breaks traction in the wet a lot easier then it did previously

Heres a comparison between a stock EB snorkel and an XH snorkel:

Image

The size difference is quite significant!

I also won this off ebay:

Image

Image

Judging by the differences in plugs, I presume i'll have to find a fairmont or equivalent plug?
Now there is a thread explaining how to install one of these however it seems quite complicated as i'm not too good at soldering lol
So will have to wait a few weeks til i have some time off around christmas!

Anyway that's about all for now, next on the list is probably 10mm leads and some new car matts!

Cheers, Luke
