Cheers Guy's!
Yeah trying to tidy up all the little things that have been annoying me for a while now, specifically for AFD.
Plan is to get the front left quarter damaged fixed up just before AFD so spending money on fixing up little things for the moment :)
Next is probably an auto service...

Thanks mate!

Yep, basically just some flat black touch up paint.
I did lightly sand everything back including the cowling then added 4 coats of spray paint.
It looks good from a distance but up close there are a few imperfections...

I've never sprayed plastic before so don't know whether you'd prime it but the wipers definitely need primer to do them properly!
I also scratched the cowling a bit putting it back together :(
Definitely a worthwhile mod/fix :)

Cheers, Luke

Wow thanks for the link!
fortunately I don't have to deal with the window surrounds as mine are all in pretty decent nick and come up good with some armour all :)
Unfortunately I use the car everyday so don't have to time for it to be off the road hence why I didn't prep everything properly :(
Maybe one day when I can afford another daily

So, almost hydro locked/completely fkd this thing today...
Been travelling to Richmond for uni all week and of course it has to piss down with rain the week i'm there!

Anyway went out in my lunch break to get lunch and decided to stop at a quiet park I always have lunch at...
Pulled in to the dirt (mud) carpark driving through a few puddles, nothing major. Come upto a bigger puddle that didn't look bad (oh how I was wrong) and drove through it...
f**k I hear when the front basically dives into it and then I s**t myself hoping I don't get bogged but managed to drive out of it tyres spinning but barely going anywhere!

Judging by the mud on the wheels it came about halfway up the rim resulting in the Front bumper cracking and mongulating more that it was before lol but I learnt a valuable lesson that you always hear people say, "never drive through water you can't see the bottom of"...
Live and learn hey

On a positive note, Car's getting good fuel economy considering it's not being driven nicely, got about 420km out of the last tank with about 1/8th left to go which I thought was pretty good!
Anyway end rant/study procrastination

Cheers, Luke

Sorry to hear all of that mate, hopefully you come across some parts real quick.
On a more positive note, I live in Richmond and can share the hatred for the roads here.
I know that feel

Thanks haha!
Just a matter of finding time and saving a bit more coin now to take it to the panel beaters and get everything I want done to it..

And LOL the roads are pretty bad, especially suburban Richmond roads!
Got a bit lost finding maccas and with all the water on the road I'd just keep hitting bumps and pot holes :x
+ it's amazing how easily the roads flood there...

I'll keep an eye out for you, I usually get there about 8:45 then leave between 3-5 but it's only for this week thankfully

Haha, well I work out a bit further in North Richmond.

You might see me showing up the stupid P Plate petrol Hiluxes at MacDonalds with a few exhaust revs and a bootful off the lights.

I used to think that I had the only Black EBII XR6 in my area and then Lukeee pops up

Lucky about the near drowning. That was the worst day of my life when I killed my EL.

I went back and had a look today and it was more so a ditch filled with water that i've misjudged the depth of :x
Back bumpers been pulled out near the exhaust too...

And yeah Rew93N, there's actually not many "done up" fords in general that i've noticed in Richmond/Windsor...
There's a few around here now, Ev, BenJ, Sam (streetfords dude) + other randoms that i've seen!
Should come out to liverpool one night :D
