Yeah I plan to do it all myself, except of course machine the rotors :p

Mmm, it certainly seems good, I reckon I'll have to take it.

are they thick enough to be machined?

just saves hassles later on trying to find everything else. i forget but was the van manual?

True, I took the 3spd manual column gearbox to the tip :p

Auto.. But it's better than nothing really, I could never get used to column shifting, especially a manual.

I'd really like a hydraulic clutch 4 speed floor shift. But that costs heaps, I can always do that at a later date. I need to spend money on a car rotisserie, rust repair panels and other rust fixing first.

Yeah they have enough thickness to be machined, they only need a light one too.

That would have been great :D

The floors looked really good from inside. I couldn't really tell properly from the underside.
All will be relieved and fixed with a rotisserie without the bother of lying on the ground 8-)

The floor in my ute has rust holes though

Yeah I don't have the motivation to drive an hour one way to have to haul thousands of car parts from the inside, boot, roof and bonnet and put them all somewhere. And take the compressor up to fill or swap the flat on my XC. then tow or puch it out of the garage to straighten it up, and then steering it back in..

And after all that I would then be able to properly start doing stuff to it :p

Finally, there's probably nothing interesting in it..

Pictures of what sorry?

Ah ok, I dunno where i got door trims from

I'm not sure how they are stock, the tray/cab wall has been cut and moved.

But both the left and right side of the tray floor just sits there, no hinges. I do plan to put some on them though.. One day :p

Nah not really, I haven't actually done much car wise lately.. My ute still has a half done interior with only one seat bolted in and most all of the electrics not working :p

And my xc has a ton of parts in and around it

But yeah, I reckon I'll buy the XD pano when I get my tax back, I'm still waiting for a group certificate from a previous employer (Telstra, no surprises about the s**t service haha).

What about you, been busy with car stuff lately? I'll have to have a look in your thread
