An indicator (but I got that one off you so that's sorted)
Drivers mirror sits a bit below the level it should, I dunno if it can be fixed or just replaced.
And the bit that I was trying to get off your EF, it connects the airbag and horn buttons on the column.

Other than that it should be all good, the body has a few bits on it but the interior is pretty neat.

I know a guy that can lend a mirror and stuff like that for the rego inspection, if needed.

I'm not too sure, I work Friday and all weekend, maybe Sunday? I finish at 3..

I'll be going to have a look at the EF tomorrow or Saturday, Apparently it has a flat tyre.. It's only one of the stock steelies from my EB I put on it temporarily.

I've got heaps of spares and a couple of sets or 15" alloys though.

BTW Brad, I just remembered it has a flat battery, but I should have one that's good to start it on Sunday if you're still going to have a look at it.

I called the guy who owns the P6 LTD today, I'm going to give him a call back during the week sometime after he's had a think about things.. But he did say that he doesn't want to sell the 351 Cleveland, FMX gearbox or 9 inch LSD diff. Bugger.

He also said he was thinking of keeping the whole thing as spares.

I'm hoping he'll sell the whole thing to me though, except probably for the engine box and diff :(

Yeah I rally want the entire interior, doors, FMX g/box, 9" LSD, 351 clevo and the front end. I was thinking of maybe using the front end for rego and leaving the repair of the front end XC panels until last.
But I'd like the front end anyways, be nice to have one lying about :D

The 351 sounds alright but I don't have a spare grand :(

And the 302 isn't really what I'm after, I'd prefer a Cleveland, and stock carby.

Thanks though, apparently the guy who bought the P6 paid $1000 for it, it would be great to get all the gear from it for that price..

no worries i dunno if he has the 351 still this was a while ago when my old man was thinking of putting a V8 in the panelvan but then left it as a 6 and sold it shortly after.

see what happens he may change his mind of keeping the motor etc and sell it all.

What an idiot.. Your XD looked tough the way it was, the engine and phase gear is good but the stickers are stupid..

BTW, meant to text back that I'll be trying to sell it complete in the paper first of course, it may sell if it's cheap enough. But there's been and EA series 1 (3sp) with no reg and hotwire mags for $350 for a few weeks..

Haha nah, the cow covers are what make the car

I called the guy with the P6 tonight, we're meeting on the weekend to have a proper look at the P6 and discuss prices. He said he's definitely keeping the 351 and FMX though. And he's got the 9" in his ute so he's keeping that too.

He did mention he has an XD panel van with a 302, auto and diff in it that he might sell to me. I'm not sure if it's a Windsor or Cleveland or what auto or diff it has. Probably not a 9" or FMX, I reckon it'll be a C4 and a non-LSD diff :(

He'll be showing me the XD on the weekend too. He said it is basically wrecked except for the drive line.

Also, I had a look at the P6 tonight while dropping some parts in and discovered it doesn't have power seats.. Not that it really worries me but I thought LTD's had them in the late 70's? It doesn't have power mirrors either, but I don't really care, it's just interesting :D

We'll see how it goes and how much he's going to want for it all.. Apparently he paid $1000 for the complete LTD, so without the engine gearbox and diff I should be able to make a reasonable offer.

It all really makes me want to start working on my XC, I've been making some inquiries at work to see how much a car rotisserie would cost, too much probably

I'll also be moving my DC up to my mums garage on Thursday, I'm hoping to have in checked by a steering shop to make sure it def is the pump, 'cos it doesn't look like the one I bought is coming.. And I don't want to throw hundreds at it if it doesn't fix the problem.

And I might re-register my XF too. But I'll wait until after the weekend to see what the go is with the P6 and XD. Have to be careful though, if it goes out of the three month period it'll never be registered again.. And the EB's rego is coming up (and school fees & internet etc) the bastards should realise I'm trying to buy car stuff here

Well I think that's about all that's going on with my cars ATM, I still haven't done anything to my XF's body or even bolted the FD seats and console in properly yet..
