Here it is hooked up in the car. It is a perfect fit! sits nice and snug on the diff hump leaving plenty of boot space to spare. Got a few more things to do to it, like line it and add sockets on the sides for easy removal. All coming soon..
For factory subs, they pack a decent punch! good clean bass throughout the car.
Id like to thank snap0964 for giving me the idea. Worked better than expected.

Lookin' groovy mate.
I want to do that with some intense 12" Kicker subwoofers,
but I also want to keep my brains inside my skull.
So, my single 12" will do. Haha

As always,
keep it up, my fellow Ghia man.

Cheers man! yea that would be sick with 12"s, but as you said, They would destroy you and your car!
These 2 8"s are vibrating the absolute s**t out of the boot alone! better get on to that soon ay?

anyway experimented with that contact paper i had from I while back. It was a decent job but could be alot better. Anyway, thoughts?

Thanks guys! Well its actually el cheapo contact paper I came across in a $2 shop. To stick it on, I used a can of adhesive spray from burstons and a hair dryer to mould it to the surround.
Its not an exact match to the woodgrain gear selector but i think that can be easily fixed with a bit of varnish or something like that.
Iv still got a fair bit of the stuff left, so if anyone would like a bit of "woodgrain" in their interior, let me know.
Cheers

Looks pretty good. Maybe some close up photos would be good? May be a good solution for me not being able to find a single DIN Cappa surround. Just wrap one.

That surround turned out nice man, good work! 8-)

Makes you wonder why Ford didn't do something similar in the first place for the Fairmont Ghia's and Fairlane's. Yet they did with the LTD's

Close ups. Shows how crude the job is. It was my first time wrapping so ill hopefully get better at it over time. You can't really see this anyway without getting down low..

Actually, shes getting a 2.5" catback on wednesday! :) Mandreal bent, Straight through; 1 muff, 1 rear rez, 200 cpsi cat. etc.
Should be very similar to your setup, I think i might have hi-tech headers too.

A'ite man here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6JtWfgJ ... e=youtu.be
Just got the system installed today:
-2.5" straight through system
-1 Muffler
-1 Rear Resonator
-200 CPSI Metal Cat
Hooked up to the hi-techs that came with the car.

Seems to be a decent setup and she revs better. The exhaust doesn't have that 4 cyl putt putt sound anymore either.
Give us your thoughts...

Your original exhaust sounded awesome too.
