Well I've had the car since 2008 and its been great.

But after selling my AuIII Xr8 I needed a bit more Hp out of the old beast
Top end swap over, great idea! Until on the pull down bolts decided to snap here and there so I go a recoed 200kw but it came with e7 heads?WTF? Rang em up and sorted it out. Got some money back on the engine so alls good and fitted my set of gt40's, also got me a rebuilt AuIII xr8 4sp auto to replace the old one as it was slipping.

Out with the old

Heads and rollers fitted

I'm hoping to fit the rest up over the weekend but my torque wrench is MIA(dam kids)

Also fitted a Gt steering wheel

Still need to getter a bigger Tb and Maf then probly go for a j3 chip, in the meantime going to use the stock Ef one in the mean time

Nice! Good to see a local lad doing some good work, you must be the one I see round here from time to time!

It's still in the garage waiting to be dropped in but it's all good to go.
Then I'll take it to get a j3 chip or some other ecu remap to squeeze a bit more power.
I've been 12-14 hours most days so the last thing I want to do is pull the hoist out and work on the car. And weekends have been taken up by my dirtbike
