Cheers guys, after i do my tax im gonna buy some decent mufflers and make a twin 2.5" stainless exhaust at work. Cant wait, it sounds beefy as hell with a single 2.5 as it is... 8-)

Installed a 30mm whiteline swaybar
Fitted the wing, still yet to be painted...
Here's a couple pics we took on the weekend...
The ute is my mrs', its a 04 BA xr8
Apart from the obvious cosmetic mods, it also has a Stainless herrod catback, 100cell Cats, genie extractors and is about to have a FG 290 transplanted into it this weekend!

Jeebus, its been a while... where do i start.

Sold the 20's, weird offset and too much rim was a pain in the a**, so they're gone.
I picked up a set of BA fairlane wheels in perfect nik for pretty cheap, so they're on it now.. Gave em a lick of paint to suit the car a little better

Wing is still yet to be painted so i took it off for now, also picked up a different boot garnish. I do like the seriesII ones but im going for a very simple and clean look, so i think the earlier ones are a bit more fitting.

Chucked a big-a** pod and Arcon airbox in it last week, and getting a twin 2.5 Catback for my bday then looking into getting it tuned...

The box only cuts off the top and the sides, it is open at the front so it gets all the cold air from around the headlights and its also partially open at the bottom :D

Ah ok, but it has no scoop or feed? It's not restrictive at all?

Nah mate, far from it... the engine sucks the air, it dosnt need a feed. The gaps around the headlights are a fairly decent size so when the cars going forward theres heaps of air getting in there anyway.

But that is making the engine do the work. If you force it in, then its one less job the engine has to do.

Dude, it definatly cant be any worse than the old maze of an intake that they come out with standard. As for forcing the air in, well thats what superchargers are for  haha. Looking into them later on down the track!

The arcon boxes work on the same principal as the BPR boxes for the b-series 8s, and both are producing great results after a tune...
