Sorry mate, i wish this rain would stop, i got out there sunday morning and set up another tarp. I moved the spare engine off the crane which was never picked up from an ebayer, and set the block on the stand, i undid the sump bolt and not water came out just a few drops of oil which wasn't milky at all. I started to rain soon after so i layed a tarp over the gear as well as having the one above it like a roof. will have to wait till next weekend or have a look one after noon if the bugs arn't too bad.

I know i have changed my mind many many times...

But..

It wont be the same but it will look the same...... sound the same...... and perform slightly better.

92 EBII Ghia
White
New T5 with 12mth warranty
2 1/2 inch exhaust
New radiator
Top end rebuilt
Leather interior, not cracked damaged ect
New tyres on original Snow flakes
Working Air con with climate control
Ford factory 800w Bridgeable pure class amplifer
and 10inch Ford factory sub
1 owner mature driver
No Accident damage
No rust
9mths rego
RWC

All of the above plus what i got on my car now will make a awesome ride, look like an Xr6 on the out side, Ghia on the inside and perform above average with wade 1673, T5, 3.23 LSD??, recent head job CAI upgrade.

Price confirmed!

Not sure if i should bother going Serp as i don't see any advantages stacking better then the hassle to fit it.

Regards,

an excited Michael.

Sounds good. You will need to either pay big $$$ for undamaged leather, or get some repair work done on a set you can get your hands on.

My leather is not perfect but in really good shape, i had some repair work done on the drivers seat.

Cheers

ROFL @ huggie!

I have seen very few EB or ED Ghia's with full leather in really good condition for sale, There is always a little sun damage on the top edge of the back seat, and the drivers seat always needs trim work & sometimes rebuilding the foam as well.

Mine has a little sun damage on the top edge of the rear seat, and i had to get work done on the outside edge of the drivers seat as well.

Hence why i said be paying $$$ for undamaged leather. Either in a car or just the seats....

Cheers

Dunno what you mean but... the EBII has leather and i was told and shown it in near perfect condition, i dunno if i like it 100% i prefer the ED style with the leather only on the sides.

The EB will get
- Stereo, Head unit, sub, amp, speakers.
- ED XR grill and lights
- XR Lip spoiler
- XR6 Wheels
- JMM Extractors Cat and Exhaust
- Less restrictive CAI, non pod style
- Clear side indicators
- Not sure about badging yet, debadge the sides and replace the rear fairmont badge with either a black XR6 or red falcon S badge. Or could put an entire Xr6 garnish with both black badges.
- Im sure there will be other small things like coolant bottle mine is pretty new but the other might still be cleaner.

Im looking for some help with my stereo, a full list of what i have is below, i want to know what a suitable amp would be for the Sub i have now. Or if possible perhaps the one i have now can be tuned to achieve maximum performance.

Headunit

Amplifier GM-3300T

Thanks for your interest guys,

Usually really really good leather is very pricey, either with a good car around it or just teh seats on their own. Check Ebay atm, there's a set for a starting bid of $600. Pricey but it looks like they are pretty good.

ED style? I've seen both EB's & ED's with the leather & velour, and full leather. Full leather was an option i believe. I currently have full leather in my EB Ghia & the ED Ghia i'm wrecking has the leather & velour. I prefer the full leather, but if the leather & velour seats i have don't sell for enough coin, they will go into my Xr8, as they are nicer than Xr8 cloth seats i think.

Cheers

I think i get what you mean... that original leather seats, in good to perfect condition are fairly expensive whether there with or without a car, in this case there with the car.

Im watching that $600 set of leather seats already, there's another set of leather & velour ones which are at $250 and rising, the leather & velour seats are the ones i like, thou either will do.

The seller is mostly worried about getting there money back on things like the head reco, gearbox reco and new radiator ect, but they along with most of us know you hardly ever get your money back. I feel i got it for a pretty good price and its almost everything i want in an ED.

Regards.

Yep, that basically what i mean man. Leather & the velour + leather seats are worth a bit, even in damaged condition, so i won't be selling my ED Ghia leather & velour seats too cheaply.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to get your money back on car's. Unless you don't spend much in the first place. If you got it for a good price & it's close to what you want, that's great!

Does it have a sunroof? That's one of the few things i wanted in my EB Ghia that i didn't have. I now have one to fit, but i also have a white EB Xr8 now, and i'm not sure where i want to fit my sunroof, in the Eb Ghia or the EB Xr8.

Cheers

Yer i passed on finding one with a sunroof, this car is just too close to what i want for me to let it go by, i can't believe no one else even made an offer to the sellers.

Dads got contacts and they guy that we get our tint for installs sunroofs as well, so if i can find one over time ill have a look at it.

Regards,

Michael

Cool. I could install mine myself, but i have many other things to do first. I also have a mate who works for a panel shop, who could install it pretty cheaply for me.

Cheers
