i wasnt a fan of the woodgrain dash. i was even going to repaint my spears or stain them black.

depends on the woodgrain. there was some that came out which looked like gastric dog s**t! I think the DC's had it, and there is a darker shade which is the look I'm after. This is the place in Melbourne. Not cheap though, I was quoted $490 for 4 x pieces. So this is a bit down on the list atm, been spending way too much on the car lately, bloody tax time should be every month lol

This is the look but will not be getting the cluster surround done.

But the shade is darker, I have the rear console courtesy light panel done, but I bought it from ebay.

Seen these in person, and they look really tacky IMO. but each to thier own.

Prob better stuff you could do to the interior to spice it up a bit.

Always with the Negative! You really are a glass half empty person eh mate! I was showing what I am getting done, not necessarily after opinions, but when has that ever stopped anyone :P You might like to reserve your judgement until I have had it done, as mentioned, It won't be in that colour, and why would I pay the rediculous amount of money for original, scratched woodgrain pieces that are out there ATM. Unless the theme hasn't been picked up here, I am converting the lane to full, or as close to, LTD spec as I can get.
I know, probably just easier to buy an LTD, but then it wouldn't have been built by me eh! This way I get the best of both worlds, and I get exactly what I want to achieve :)
Not everybody is gunna like it! but I don't give a rats! As long as I'm happy :D

if you buy a LTD you will have a stock LTD... if you do up your lane to LTD spec then you will have a heavily modded lane which will be sweet and make you happy... who likes stock cars seriously

Don't get me wrong, it will not resemble a stock LTD in the slightest, but I do like all of the finer appointments that come with the LTD, such as wood, leather and felt lined trim. Already had the LTD bonnet fitted from factory, so that was the basis of the build. LTD luxury without the additional cost of higher insurance and rego :D

Over it already :) It's just that some of your comments throughout this thread have come accross that way and I haven't understood why. But people will have their opinions and they won't always like what I have done, but that's why I bought a clean skin to build my lane from, so I could do it my way! I'll try to stop being so snappy :D (I can't promise anything, I am a ranga afterall :P )
