yeah i know how you fee. i had one member going on about having 7 pages or something on a s**t fairlane, but i also got 3 comments in a row on how good it is and one even said best build thread he has read. its those last comments that make you feel good about what you have done. and i can honestly say this is definately one of the top build thread (right below mine :P )

Awww! Thanks Huggie
Howd you go with finishing your B pillars. Mine are all done, just have to give them a bit of a polish up and hit them with a coat of wax and they will be nice'n'shiny :D Should blend in with the new windows nicely.

Anybody got any recommendations on a good trim polish to bring up my lower window rubbers? I know there is trim dream, but it is a bit late to get some of that and last I read, he was all out.
Cheers,
Mick

Well Huggie, we're not the only ones that think the old NC's are a worthy streeter. I was awarded Best Club Car yesterday at the All Ford Day at Warrick Farm in Sydney. What a day, and to walk away with Best Club Car was just the icing on the cake :D
I also had a lengthy chat with Joe from Crescent Motor Sport on the day and he has given me plenty of ideas to get more out of my LPG system and the motor in general, so I think it's time I started concentrating on the mechanical side of the build, Thanks Joe, you're a legend!
Here's a couple of crappy pics, I should have waited for the sun to rise a bit :?

Well earned and well deserved.

Thanks Fella's. Your comments are very much appreciated.
I think it's the end of the "pimping my ride" for now Huggie  Time to concentrate on doing some more serious engine work  The little chat with Joe yesterday has my imagination running wild with idea's. Stay tuned!!!

Happy days, great result. Just looking at these pics, your car looks just like it would've the day it drove out of the showroom!!

Thanks mate. That Meguiar's gear is responsible for the show room shine. Seriously is a great product. (Just quietly, I heard a couple of the judges were from Mequiar's  ) Good thing I had the bonnet up to hide all of the stone chips

next time put a "cleaned and maintained by meguiars" logo (printed and laminated) in your engine bay for brownie points :P

Received the final piece of my "NL Shifter Conversion" today. The $16 Ebay Chrome Shifter Nut  so, together with my new leather T-bar handle and recently acquired chrome NL shifter bar, I threw it all together and gave the lane a new, shorter and shinier shifter :D
