Ah yes it reminds me when we bought our place, the wife would walk inside to check the kitchen, i would be in the yard weighing up the garage possibilities - don't worry there is life after home buying, as proven by myself who is playing with the NF whilst putting the ZD bits and pieces together!

Yeah! Thanks fella's. I already have the position for the garage all planned out, but I know what you are saying about the kitchen :? The missus has already started with the old "we can knock this wall out and the dishwasher can go over there".....it's at this stage that it starts to sound more like "bla bla bla" For everyone's sanity, the garage "MUST" come first

Having a quiet night and I was prompted to look at the old build thread. It was missing about half the pages with pictures since the FM upgrade some time back. So I just spent a little time fixing them all up.....pic's make for a better read

Won't be boosting anything for now mate, the NC is going back to the missus while I rebuild the NA and make it a safer daily.

I trust her, it's the f**k in carparks that have no respect for others property that has me more concerned! But I have lost the mojo to do any more to it at the moment, so it may as well be driven

Anyone have a 5.0L E-series wagon, and deep down you've always wanted to cruise around in the comfort of your loungeroom

haha! good to see your paying attention! I did pass that scenario of swapping the Lane for a decent wagon (with an 8 of course!) but she flat out refused! Ah well, back to the hunt for a daily hack wagon!

Not an update to the Lane as such! but I thought I would post up the new home for my 2 ladies. It's not a garage, but it's a roof over their heads

Maaate, that carport is Huuuuuuge.

Love it.

All you need now is some concrete so you can use trolley jacks etc easily.

Cheers

It is now! Just spent the last 2 days clearing out a big load of crap that was left by the previous owners, now I can fit both quite comfortably.
I have another carport at the front of the house for "mechanical" duties. It also has an inspection pit built into it  . Can't see it at the moment though, it's covered in all the furniture we don't want. Reminds me, better ring St. Vinnie's today!
Concrete for down the back is deffinately on the cards though, but with an area that large, it will be way down the track! and a roller door for the front of course

Welcome to home ownership Mick. Believe me, it puts a massive slowdown to car mods hehe.
