I've had the ones on my Territory superglued to the inside of the number plate covers for about 3 years. Never been pulled up on it at rego. Looks like its riveted from a glance. I have personalised plates too and I have no intention on drilling them either.

Ahhh! The penny drops  When I mentioned last week that I went for a drive down your way, I noticed a house on the high side of the road, 2nd or third from the corner, with a few fords out front....one of them just happened to be a territory, the other an AU ute (I think).
I remember thinking to myself that it might be your place :D

Yep, that would be me mate. If the garage door is up mate, stop by and say g'day.
I'm still yet to drive past your joint without being on a mission and catching you at home.

All good mate, I know the feeling. When I drove past it was just on dark. Bring the kids up one night, been busy lately putting up some chrissy lights......nothing special, but it's my first year at this house, so still coming up with idea's to improve it :D

I am watching that one too. Not that I will be bidding on it.

It is probably a pretty rare combo. Le Mans Red, V8 Fairmont Wagon.

Funny you say that.....the wife took our eldest to work this morning at macca's and she passed him going down the hill......after he flashed his lights and pointed at her, she realised she was doing 80  Didn't chase her though, I think he knows where we live because he has been here for the last couple of days. When she came back half hour later, he was sitting out front and just gave her a friendly wave as she pulled in the drive-way.....close call eh!

She was in the Triton, and he was out front Thursday morning when I left for work. Not many bright red triton's around
If she had of been driving the Lane at the time, I'm sure he wouldn't have hesitated giving chase

Well! I had a big scare on Boxing Day. Aqua planed across a median strip lined with trees, across 2 lanes heading in the opposite direction and end up parallel parked on the opposite side of the road facing the other direction to where I was heading.
The lane is OK from what I can see, it was covered from top to bottom in mud from the median strip and there is a huge chunk of grass wedged between the rear left tyre and the rim which I will have to deflate to get out.
Other than that, I was amazed that I could drive away with no other apparent damage.
I was going to my brother in laws not far from where it happened, so I returned in his car to show them where it happened and they couldn't believe the amount of mud and grass that was across both lanes from the median strip, and there were 2 massive guages in the median strip where I had slid through sideways in reverse.
Nearly 2 tonnes of car hurtling through the air in the wet is not something I wish to repeat again in my lifetime. Somebody was deffinately looking out for me that day.

Holy f**k!!!! Bloody lucky mate. Were the kids in the car?

Glad your alright though. The road toll is too high as it is, very glad you did not add to it.

No Kids mate....I was on my own. I'm considering myself very lucky to be still here, I was pretty shaken up and have been replaying it in my head over and over. I actually slid sideways between two trees not much wider apart from the length of the car. Like my bro-in-law said, if he didn't see where it happened he wouldn't believe it.

Yeah, thanks Phill. I guess you know first hand how bad these things can be once they get out of control.....I was just a passenger once the trip started
