Thanks Grant,

It's all but finished now, but I am attending my first Dyno run on Saturday, so depending on the results, I could be motivated to do more performance type mods rather than the cosmetic crap.

Stay tuned, I'm not even gunna guess what the readings will be. Time will tell.

Cheers,
Mick

Had yours done? Interested to hear what it made. Never did get to drive yours while it had the manual in it  I really don't know what to expect. :?

BTW, what are you doing up at that ungodly hour :P

You were close Mark. I ran 191.6HP which works out roughly to be 143rwkw.

Funny thing is, I was joking with Thomas saying that I should have told him to hit the power switch on the trans selector :P Then when I got in the car to head home, here is the green "power" light lit up on the cluster  The operator turned it on anyway

Great number there Mick! Did you remove the mixer? For what is essentially an exhaust, extractors, inlet manifold, thermos and underdrives that is pretty good. The one thing that is holding you and everyone else back are the stock heads. A set of GT40Ps, roller rockers, bigger MAF and a tune with perhaps larger injectors and you'd get 170 to 180 kW at the treads. Heads only are dirt cheap if you pay rent(you know what I mean :D ) but will get you another 15 or so without a tune or even more with the cam and tune. E series V8 garage day at your back shed did I hear?

Some pretty good idea's there Mark. V8 garage day at the shed when I get some concrete down on the ground. Not very workshop friendly atm. I even had to drive to the office on Friday arvo just to do an oil and coolant change
What's this about heads and rent :? You lost me :|

Here's what it was like today, and I was just swapping seats around

Well, the transformation back to Fairlane is nearly complete. Removed the DC leathers today and put them in the NA, and back in went the original velour seats. Tomorrow I tackle the door cards and a few other bits'n'pieces. Love my comfy velours, what was I thinking

yeah i always thought leather was great until i started looking for the NF, every leather one was showing a lot of wear & tear but the "scabby" velour was looking good in most of 'em

Sorry Mick, I meant to say that paying off a mortgage makes car mods expensive

I agree with you there too fairlane6970, very difficult to find a good set.
