I'm thinking in about 3-4 weeks, at least 2 weeks after the AFD. What are your thoughts Banarcus?

My work roster only goes for the next 2 weeks and I have no idea whats doing for the following 2. In any case it will be a weekend so I'll have to check with the rosters clerk. I have all the tools should castlegreyskull decide to do his engine revival and I have the workshop manuals for EA to DL. Your Fairlane will have its rear end perched up in the air and castle's Fairlane will need its front end up in the air so at the very least we're going to need some space.

Tackled a few more "cosmetic" mods today. Trying to get it all done before the AFD next weekend.
I have removed the trim from between the rear windscreen and the rear door (basically the rear 1/4 window surround), and am giving it a splash of paint as they were looking a bit tired. Will also be doing the window frame work. All metal parts will be done in gloss black and plastic will be black satin. Completed painting the ist stage and they came up a treat.
I also had time to remove old stickers from rear windscreen and add 1 new one
Whilst in the cosmetic makeover mood, I also tried out some new macguirers polish's and wax treatments, best the lane has ever looked. Can't wait for AFD! Just 7 more sleeps now
Here's a couple more pics :P

And the new FM sticker.

I'm pretty much free most weekends and I don't think castlegreyskull works weekends either, so let me know what weekend you have free, and it shall be a date :D

G'day huggie, and that was a before shot. I removed the rear trim just after that shot and gave them a paint. Put them back on in the dark, so haven't got a shot of them re-done yet. If your impressed now, wait till there painted

They currently have them listed on there web site for $125 reduced from $175. Might be worth contacting them for a discount on a group buy? Wadya reckon Huggie, interested? I'll chase it up and see how I go.
Here is the website: www.carshine.com.au
