The wagons a bit rough up close. Needs the bonnet and front bar re-done. You'll notice the missus has left her mark on the front left bumper
Lane hasn't changed much in the 3+ years I've had it though, except for a few minor carpark dings
Might get a chance to catch up in town this weekend, depends on the weather though :P

I have a bit of a problem! Not liking my chances, but I need to find a centre cap for an Advanti Volt Chrome 17" wheel. Part number is C-G28. These wheels are no longer made and I have searched everywhere and even rang a few local tyre places who sell Advanti wheels and it's not looking good :( I realise I may need to buy an odd set or single wheel, but s**t happens eh!

Unfortunately, the wheels are currently on the wife's wagon and last week she heard one of the front centre caps come loose. When she went back to get it, 4 of the 6 mounting tabs were broken :? If that wasn't bad enough, she put it on the table out on the front verandah and the f**k dog got hold of it later that night. Let's just say it is beyond repair

If anyone can help, please send me a PM. Google and evilbay have come up with nothing :(

Thanks mate, currently looking for a new set for the Lane. Prowlers will eventually find their way back to the wags, but the poor old Volts have seen better days.....dog chewed one of the centre caps and the quality of chrome on the Advanti's is s**t

Due to my eldest getting her Learners licence last week, I again find myself juggling vehicles to suit the families needs. As such, the wagon is probably going to be sacrificed for a smaller car for her to learn in for the next 12 months.

I will probably do a new listing in the for sale section later, I may not......probably have better luck on Ebay or carsales :P If anyone is genuinely interested in the wagon, here is the listing done by Banarcus when I bought it:-
ford-parts-for-sale-f17/fs-ed-fairmont-station-wagon-v8-sold-t93198.html?hilit=ed%20fairmont%20station%20wagon%20v8
Since then I have fixed all of the wiring due to a few gremlins that were creeping into the car, installed a near new leather XR steering wheel I bought from Matt (EVL098) and kept up with general maintenance i.e. oil change, cleaned and oiled K&N filter last week etc, etc.
Price will be approx $3,500. Choice of wheels between the prowlers and volts

Also, as stated above, I am looking for a small 5 speed manual, preferably something like a Laser, Capri or Suzuki Swift.....something along those lines. If I can pick up something half decent for around $1,500, I may keep the wags, but if I can get rid of the wagon, I will consider spending more. The idea here is the daughter will buy the car from us when she get's her P's and the wife will be getting a new car..........call it my 12 month plan

Will also consider straight swap for the right car, so let's see what ya got!!!

Cheers,

Mick

Would depend on the car of course Ash, but anywhere between 3k and 5k.

Mustang would be a nice cool car for a L plater, but not gunna happen. Do you think I would buy my daughter a Stang before I got one :P

Going to look at a white 94 Laser at Warners Bay tomorrow. No rego but looks like a nice clean car. She actually has her heart set on a Swift now after I showed her a few GTi's going on evilbay for around the 2k mark. Mate of mine had one a few years back and it was a fun little car to drive.

No rush though, she can actually drive the V8's as a learner, but not when she get's her P's. This is why we are looking to get something now, so that when the time comes, she will be familiar with the car.
