It was off the road more than it was on mate, car kept having wiring issues i was onto my third ecu... and we are having another baby in 8 weeks so priorities had to change, i was forced into this decision and if i had it my way id have kept the eb BUT in saying that the au really is a better car.

Wife has said no turbo,no superchargers and no hi stall's so it really limits what i can do but its not all that bad atleast ill be cruising in a car thats not defectable.... just yet.

Yh id been in dad's au forte 6 cyl before he sold it to get an xr8 like mine and i drove it out to wsid to watch some racing, the car was so pleasurable to drive and it felt more solid.

All ready completed my first mod the day i bought it, took the series3 clear side repeaters off the eb and put them on the au now it looks nice lol.

The paint has what looks like white over spray all over it i dont know how it got on it but ill have to speak to someone about it as thats the only thing that lets it down.

Even going from my EF to the AU, a massive change in quality. Disregard what it is, the AU model is so much of a better platform to begin with.

Congrats on the ankle bitter mate. Look forward to catching up with you again soon.

Didnt pull the whole thing out just enough to take those photo's but im just wondering what those numbers mean on that black piece that goes over the j3 port?

Maybe its to do with it being an option 20?

the numbers in the black plastic on the j3 port are just part numbers or the mould numbers for that plug, they all have them..

Yep the purge solenoids rattle like a bastard in them.
Turn the radio up. It fixes the issue.

United 100ron e10, first fill up of about $20 gave 13.8 liters which did 80km of liverpool driving.
20 liters gave me 150km after that last fill up.

Car drives pretty much the same but use's more fuel, more willing to kick down and slightly more responsive feel.

Could all just be a placebo effect but the miss's recons it kicks down easier now and after a wot flogging it smells really rich like a sweet metho smell...

Will be very interesting when i set my wideband sensor up to see what its doing.
