the EF/EL clear indicators, are they mounted to the door rubber trim thing or can they be put straight to the panel? i went the AU clear indicators for that reason. as i wasnt sure about the EF/EL ones. not to mention hard to find and cost more :S

They're a direct swap for the standard. As far as I can tell it's a amber globe and clear plastic cover to replace the existing clear globe and amber plastic cover. Will look sick with my colour.

yeah but do thay have to fit into the EF EL rubber strips? or can they be adapted to other models such as a boxcar? as the AU ones can (but need modding to face the right way)

Would probably have to fit into the rubber strip

But I dunno. They're the only type that look good on EF/EL's IMO. All others look a little off.

Your whole scrap metal thing is a good idea. I remember we cleaned out my mates back yard and we filled the back of the ute with scrap metal. Ended up getting almost $400 for the s**t that was in the ute. Mind you there was 76kg of ally at amost $6 a kilo.

Hey bud,
I grabbed the wheel off eBay for $275 posted. There's always one or two on there and they usually sell for $300+

And seemings the thread is back up again I may as well give a little progress report....

I had the car booked in today to get sprayed and looking smicko... But exactly one week ago I BLEW A f**k HEAD GASKET!!!

So yeh, the head is off the car at the moment and down getting faced. I should have it all back together and driving by tomorrow night.

The car is now booked in to get sprayed on 26th of this month so I only had to adjust my plans by a week :D

I will post pics up as soon as it's done... I'm fairly excited :D :D
