Well done on the seat rails. It really is a task to fit racing seats to an E-seires.
Did the seating height change much if at all? I personally would have tried to use some 10mm flat bar instead of using the RHS so it would lower the seat more. 10mm flat bar is a lot stronger than it sounds, not as strong as the RHS you've used, but still would be overkill in any sense. |

Cheers for the pics Matt. Good fun! Looking forward to finishing it off tomorrow.
It hasn't been too bad with Matt helping out. It's been good fun to get down and dirty and give the old girl some much needed TLC. {USERNAME} wrote: Did the seating height change much if at all? The seating position is identical to before. I made sure of that. I am kind of wishing I went with flat now to make it lower than original. I was originally going to go for flat but was a little worried about rigidity. My choice was made for me when I went down to the steel place and they had two 800mm lengths of this RHS for $5. I needed four 400mm lengths so these were perfect.

Now the question is.....
Do we fit a 30mm Pedders front swaybar to it?

I can highly recommend a 30mm front swaybar.
Do it. BenJ

right... Ben says do it... so let's do it...
I'm not going to bother with it tomorrow... Already got enough to get done as it is... I'm going to have a little hunt around for a good price on Pedders and Whiteline and do both the front and rear sway bars when I replace and rear bushes that need doing...
