Hey guys, new to this site thought id post my car up, get some feed back on her.

Its a 1994 5L V8 Fairmont, i picked her up last week for a pretty good price, its my first ford but definatly not my last, its standard for now with an exhaust. As im currently unemployed things are moving slowly, wen i start working again i will be tricking it up nicley but nothing to major as all my cars prior were drift pig nissans and im REALLY over the attention from the po po. but yeah this is monty atm. its not bad for $1300

Needs new front bar, Rear bar painted, new headlights, and the front passanger door fixed.

Hi mate nice ride.

Tip with the headlights; go over them with some nail polish remover. Brings them looking new and lasts. I found with sanding the discoloration returned very soon after.

yeh theres a few Km's im in syd atm but i think there around 320,000 and yeh the rims came with it :)

as for the v8 i thought id always be putting money in the tank, but there actually very efficient motors provided u drive it calmly.

Nice starting point the monts are nice ride with a little extra class added. As for it being an 8 they are good on fuel, I get 10.5l/100 highway and it needs a good service

yeah i just got myn serviced havnt been on the highway yet, but prior to the service i was getting 7/100, i sat in the back seat for the first time the other day, didnt no how damn comfy they are haha love the fairmont seats!

I have a question, my dash were the head unit goes, i wanna put a dvd player in but dont really want to use a fold out one cuz the air vents come out n i think the screen might not be able to open properly so i want to put a double din 1 in, but my 2nd din is a built in one with the material in it... is that a fairmont little add on? do the gli's have ones you can take out? or would i have to cut it out myself n s**t?

They all have that radio surround. Some of the Fairmont Ghias, Fairlanes and LTDs had Double DIN stereos and had double din radio surrounds to match. You need to buy one of those.

Nice as car by the way, I'll be watching closely.

Nice Mont you have there mate, pretty good buy at $1300 too. Love the look of an EF with those rims, suits it well. Good to see it has an 8 under the bonnet too

Very nice score for $1300.
Yeah the old 5.0 is slow as a wet week but sound good and are a nice and lazy motor. Very economical to maintain providing you keep on top of it and not toooo bad on the juice when your not upping it for the rent.

yeh its definatly not the quickest car iv had haha but ur right, they do have a nice note. when i bought her she had a minor oil leak but got that sorted in the service, was only a f**k oil filter (Thank god!) so now has new front ball joints, and fresh penright in her. cant believe how much nicer it drives now. wen i get back ill be getting a new water pump, pullies and new belt as my it came off wen i was up it the other day, cuz 1 of the pullies bearings were f**k, then that should keep her heart happy for now, then ill be fixing the door and sorting out the front n rear bars. just bought a cheap little head unit today so ill install that with some speakers aswell wen im home. thats about it so far, after reading kwikxr's build up i am sooo motivated to work on her its unbelivable lol

thanks kwik for the comment and inspiration baha

cheers guys, yeh im really happy with what i payed for her :)
