well the supermont is getting rebuilt,

ran a compresstion test and got

1. 130
2.132
3.120
4.110
5.85
6.100
started pulling the head off tonight, got the, rocker gear and cam out, just need to unbolt the extractors and the head from the block, hopefully have that done tomorrow to drop off to my uncles work shop to get the head machined, will get heavy duty vavle springs put into it and send the cam away to get ground, then once the block is out, we're stripping it getting it machine and honed then ordereding an acl race rebuild kit

I know how you feel lol!

Mines been off the road for over a month now and after looking at countless POS EB-AU XR6s I'm leaning towards fixing mine...

Don't spend too much on it lol!

Give it a few good hits with a piece of timber on the side of the head.

That will make it a fun machine when it's done. I should have fit up HD valve springs when my head was last rebuilt, but I just couldn't afford it at the time. Now it will cost me more time & money to upgrade the springs.

Even if you don't get the cam right away, that's a rather easy job to do later. The valve springs no so much.

Cheers
