going to have 10 days off work and get as much of my body work completed as possible, going to the wreckers next saturday to get au door handles to weld into my spare doors, going to make the doors flush, and will also get the bonnet cut and weld it together, going to take alot more time and try to avoid putting to much heat in as much as possible (SWC tips?)

Just before christmas i drove Kermit on a 2.5 hr trip past kiama , far south of sydney and came home late at night. The car got home and the accelerator cable snapped as i was putting the car in the garage late at night. Just the other day my starter motor died but allowed the car 1 last start to get home from work. Got home and dead the next morning. See our cars do look after us. :P . Saved a bit of money both times in tow truck fees !

i had to years ago when i broke the damper on the clutch fork. it really didnt like that idea trying to start it in 3rd.
it did it thankfully though. the ea had no neutral switch either..
where on the eb i do

the el is looking nice mate. and i bet it goes well even with the niggly issues with the idle

i still had 40k's to drive home from work. all country freeway too.. so i picked a gear that would let me do around the speed limit lol

for some reason mine wouldnt happily slip into gears minus clutch. and as it was starting to make a few unhealthy sounds i didnt try my luck.

just was harder to get it to start as mine was on straight lpg at that stage..
