update, when i was doing my air intake mod last weekend i noticed that my big mouth intake was all cracked, adds to my suspition that my car was in a bad front end stack, engine bay is painted black too???
anyway today i had a go at plastic welding it, how i went about this was a nice gentel heat flame from a little butain tourque my brother has and melted zip ties into the gap, used the same method as fusion welding, me holding the crack apart when i started welding all finished when i get motivated i will fibreglass the hole up and put some spray putty over it so make it all the same size and then spray it black now i also pulled apart an el throtle body i found down stairs, which i will bore out hopefully to a 70mm bore size when i'm at work where i can sue a 4 jaw lathe and a boring bar pictures of it before i decembled it both censores removed butterfly vavle removed after about 10 minutes of jigging around i managed to pop the cerclip on the end of the butterfly shart leaving it like this just a couple of randomw pictures of me turning a vice handle at school |

got a bit sick of my standard front bar, mainly cause the soccer ball bumped into the front of it last weekend and half of it fell off so today i decided to finish off the fibreglassing, just waiting for the edges to dry and for me to sand them up and hit them with some pain, going to fibreglass the numberplate section while it's on the car and fix the cracks on the car too, will upload pictures once the front bar is bolted to the car

well finished all the visual fibreglassing on the front bar today
cracks i need to fix whats left now is to fix up the cracks, join the two bars together at the inner wheel area so it looks like 1 bumper, bog up the sideskirts and cut, heat and bend the back dog legs on them, paint them and then bog the rear bar and cut my exhaust off and i can bolt the hole kit up, really happy with how the front bar changed the presence of the car, will also get my brother to wire up my driving lights, ran out of resisn and hardener today so i don't know when the rest will be done by, have a motor bike rebuild, a manual converstion and an ecu to pay for yet, so once i get that done i'll know when the rest will be done, |

got productive this afternoon, took me all of 5 minutes to knock the pins out of the xg pedal box and put them back into the spare auto box i got here, taking it to school tomorrow to modifie it as by this docment here e series pedal box strengthening
also found some plate to make a firewall strenghter as per this document here fire wall plate pedal box and plate standard xg gear box needs a degrease will get to that during the week plans from here are, once i have my bike, the gear box and ecu paid off, get the flywheel machined and buy some gearbox oil and convert it over, while i'm under the car will also drop the diff oil and change that too, and finally when i can afford it a rip shifter Cheers Mitch |

my manual ecu arrived today, so if anyone is interested in my other manual ecu or my current auto one give me an offer
items left before i can start the converstion modify the pedal box, doing that tomorrow during lunch time make firewall plate, should be done tomorrow, get gearbox oil and flywheel machine been talking to josh (XRLANE) about some ideas for my gear stick so that i can use after market gear knobs, my original plan was to drill and tap a hole to suit the ea stick then thread the otuside to match the aftermarket options which when talking to josh confirmed my idea that there wouldn't be enough room for it to work, so i'm going to slightly head up the ea gear stick cut the top off and machine a new thread into it, another idea i had was to make one up out of mild steel, cut a threa onto it heat it up and bend it up like an ef/el one |
