I knew it! Bet you're backing it up with a celica 5 speed and dyna diff, oh and torsion bar front end, and leaf springs in the rear.

Yeah, you'd have nearly as much lift as stroke. Forget bent valves, she'd probably push the crank out through the sump.

127 pages of this thread aren't even about the car haha :P

Just kidding Mitch!

Very keen to see where you go with this now, its a nice car!

Don't worry about all the issues, its almost a 20yr old car so things are going to need to be replaced, especially if you drive it hard 8-)

No words for the motor though, that just sucks :(

Watching with interest, keep at it!

thanks mate, driven hard is an understatement for this old girl, you're right it's a nice car and compared to the wagon it rides incredibly smooth for an older car, but the wagon is a nice car to drive the chunkiness just ads to it all

here's a picture on my mates driveway last year

Stop complementing your own car Mitch! Clearly its going to ride better than a leaf spring wagon so dont think its so brilliant!

the leafs aren't an issue the twist this b**ch gets looks awesome haha, the wagons just got a lot of clunks from when it got hit up the a*** a few years back, and the clutch is a lot heavier and the gearbox isn't quiet as smooth but it's still a weapon

I was waiting for this, but as you can see the road goes around further if you look above the roof of my car and Google maps but it's not up to date still shows it as a gravel driveway not the hot mix
