Ok guys,
Just gone through and deleted hundreds of posts of crap to clean this thread for mitch taking me an hour.
Keep the thread on topic and dont carry on with random chat. Some chat is fine but keep it at a minimum.
So from here on this thread and discussions are to be related to the build thread.

just did some simple addition and for motor, manifolds, brakes and exhaust i worked it out to be about 25 grand, then would have to buy the turbos and all the other necasary items

457rwkw was where i got to under perfect conditions but under normal conditions was around 405rwkw.

The $100k + price tag was for a whole lot of car mods not just the engine.

Need to determine what budget you want to work to and if you plan to do it yourself.
220rwkw is one level
250-300rwkw is another
Over 300rwkw is a whole other ball game.

220rwkw - 230rwkw you can do yourself and keep it cost effective but i would DEFINATELY reccomend spending some money having a profesisonal do the tune once the hardware is installed.

250rwkw - 300rwkw you need to do gearboxe and clutch mods + drivetrain mods as it simply wont last.

i'm aiming for between 600 - 800 rwhp, and the owner of ss this has pretty much conviced me into getting a c4 auto and a 9 inch diff, how ever when he and myself stripped his old el diff down and rebuilt it for his fiancé's car the gears and bearings were fine and he had 650rwhp

it's slowly getting there, i'm thinking about wiring an immobiliser into the engine so if I have to leave it at the airport or something like that it can't be hot wired, but not sure if I should just get an alarm that has it or not

hmm tough one , well i guess if you get a cheap alarm hooked to your favourite trigger or two that should stop most kids well thats what i have done

Also be careful with power in the future you don't want your EL to end up like my EF did

If they really want the car they will use a flat bed etc at your house

I don't want to say to much on this forum as its security wise

An alarm plus kill switches hiding in plain sight are good ,

Eg the power button on the shifter i know you got manual having the power and econ button removed and having a kill switch there is good but think of other places for that idea

E,g i know of a car which had a kill switch for rear tail lights etc etc via a plain sight switch for stealth at the drags to not see where the rear end is :)
