got the radiator support drilled out today, dash out and all the looms removed from the engine bay, apart from the ones near the booster, will just wrap them in alfoil for the painting and blasting.

The pedal box will now be changed across to a BA/EL hybrid this will give me less stuffing around with the hydrualic clutch and will make the pedals all sit in the right possition, this will then alow me to rev match my down changes again.

also played with a new battery location

also removed the battery box and started playing around with the frame to hold the batter under the guard

its amazing how much your plans changed from buying the car and having a nice clean stock el t5, to a n/a barra, and now relocating the battery, respray, all the other random ba stuff thats being thrown in, shouldve just chopped your body up and zip tied it to a typhoon bottom lol.
looking good though

How hard is it to put the battery under the guard? And is it still accessible?

not very hard at all, all the looms come out of the guard to the battery anyway,
it won't be as acceable, but i can get my front back off in about 10minutes, so no real issue,
if required an isolation switch and jumper lead connectors could be wired in somewhere easy to get to

my BA manual pedal box showed up today so i had a play with that tonight looking where i have to cut the el pedal box and same with the ba one to clear the white box bolted to the top of the firewall in the e series

the el one is pretty straight forward
just cut it so you end up with a flat top while leaving the section that bolts to the firewall and the colum (white line)
{DESCRIPTION}
the ba how ever is a little more detailed by still not overly complicated

pedals are all in the same locations as the el ones were just will sit evenly which is something thats p****d me off since day dot after the convertion that my pedals were all over the shot, i've dropped the throtle back a little compared to the rest, this will alow me to blip the throtle when i drop back gears

haven't touched the mont in almost two weeks,

i leave tomorrow after work to drive to brisbane, where i'll be in brisbane for about 2 hours before returning back to mackay,

the reason for this is, i've bought, FPV seats front and rear, with door trims, a BF F6 TYPHOON motor with the turbo and manifold, and a bellhousin with a twin plate clutch and flywheel,

the motor will receive, 12psi actualtor, process west plenum, 700x300x100 intercooler, 60lb injectors, ported waste gate, 3.5 stainless turbo back exhaust, my eboost will then controle my boost to 16 psi and a tune from CPV tuning

will post pictures, saturday once i wake up
