Does your car feel lighter? Mine did after the conversion. Not just in acceleration, but in handling as well.

i miss my speed steering haha, but it does seem to be more driveable out of corners, i have noticed first being very short, only gets to about 45-50 not that worries though will help me off the line for sure

@ a total tool, when you said you had a ghia ecu in your six did you get a j3 chip or was it resistor tricked? |

When my Ghia was a 6, it was just running a fooled Ghia ECU... I loved the Speed sensitive steering seems he did the resister trick and "fooled it"

well i decided today before i go to far along with making the car faster,
was thinking option a) some good branded slotted and cross drilled brakes, whats your oppion option b) 330mm brake upgrade for the front and sloted and drilled rears, |

i would go for option a
except i wouldnt go for x drilled rotors, they will just crack if you give them a hard time. i use to have dba gold slotted and drilld rotors on my eb xr8 and the rotors warped extremely easy and cracked through the holes.. imo the problem was because they were drilled they heated up fast and because of the combination of slots and drill holes they also cooled to fast, what happens when steel gets hot and cooled fast over and over?? warping and cracking.. im now running just slotted and they are pretty good considering my ed has to work harder to stop then the xr8 ever did.. option b?? unless your going to do track days as in curcuit racing or are going to drive it like you stole it...lol.. no real need for a big brake upgrade. |

im currently running bendix h/d, there ok, bit dusty though. there is bendix ultimate or srt which are better again.. the problem is the better the pad performance the harsher the wear is on the rotors...
but i think my next set i might try ebc green stuff.. |
