That's the exact setup I'm going to be going for next on the EB in the next few months or so!
Greenstuff pads and just some RDA slotted rotors seem to be the go for people like us who do some "occasional spirited driving" like Troy said

Nice work with the manual conversion too, I've heard they transform falcons immensely

I've noticed with e series brakes, when you get new rotors and pads they work great for about a month or so then start working s**t again . Even through I don't do track I'd still rather the 330 mm brakes , it will pull up much easier . If I want to stop on my car i have to push the pedal in really hard .

I've almost ran up the back of cars due to the brakes not pulling up . Depends how long your going too keep the car , no point spending $2000 on big brakes then sell it year later .

Might be worth having a look at QFM, Im running their A1RM pads on both my cars, never had fade on them yet, and I've taken them to Winton for the funday. The EL is running DBA Slotted discs, and the EF is just running DBA standard discs. Theyre only $120 per set too.

Stock brakes in good nick should be able to bring in ABS, which pretty much means you cant brake any harder. Upgrading pads or rotors etc can help repeatability, so when you are driving hard it takes longer for brake fade to set in. Big brake kits on a car that can already engage ABS could actually increase your braking distance.

Its a big read, really interesting though. Id be very cautious of the ebay big brake kit for this reason.

Fair enough, I would just go new rotors on the front with QFM pads. You can go QFM HPX pads if you want to go a little cheaper, i think they're $80 per set. I had them on my ED cos it was a budget car, only got fade once going up to the snow in the mountains.

Main thing is when you do it, bleed the brakes and put good brake fluid in. That makes a massive difference, its meant to be done yearly I think, noone ever does though. Once youve bedded them in properly I highly doubt you will need much more unless you are really pushing it hard.
