the only reason youd fit the live axle from an au is for the offset, correct?

Whats so good about IRS? Live axles are good enough and stronger too.

I would like AU offset too, but thats too much effort for me

don't have to worry about crushing my exhaust pipe when i have a full car, they squat more so they don't want to spin as much and they seem to corner better

Meh, too much work for little gain.

K frame would be good though. Clearance for alloy sump equipped motors, bigger choice of brakes and Wheels.

i think changing k frame is actually ilegal due to changing the strength of your front end incase you have a front end smash, id rather bolt on a legal brake upgrade over a whole au front k frame and other crap. same with the au irs, while it is legal to get a mod plate for it in qld, the brakes cant be any bigger than e series rears, and theres a few other things that cant be different, and i cant see the point for a daily driven car, if your worryed about your exhaust just lift the car a little :?
