We all learn from our mistakes, well some do. Buy the bar from Newgel and do it right the first time.

Or your other option is to talk to Ron at Phat Customs and get the EF Typhoon XR bar and adjust it to suit your Fairmont bonnet. or fit a GLi Bonnet.

For those that are intersted here is something that people have been waiting for from Ron at Phat Customs

yeah i was planing an xr one from phat customs, yeah i saw the lip spoiler about 3 months ago when my mate still had the white xr as he wanted a lip spoiler

Why bother f**k around with xg brakes. Your a machinist aren't you ? Make a kit like I did .

no haha, i thought about it but to much f**k around, i may do a big brake upgrade on mine like you've done if my new brakes go to s**t, otherwise i'll hold off until i get my opens and put au suspention in

My kits still going well " touches wood " lol.it was the prototype kit which can be improved. I have machined up a second set of uprights when I get around to it ill make up a new bracket and drill holes in the right spot.ao it passes
Engineering .

Up to you which way u wanna go . Imo it's way easier to make up the kit than a au suspension conversion

i agree with corey, just do the brake upgrade like his, or buy a whole au and drop the ba/bf engine in, no point chopping and changing that much on an e series when you can just bolt the ba motor into an au and the irs is done, and the front brake kit is simple az a direct bolt in
