on manual models with cruise control there is a switch on both pedals connected in series(looped) that is how i did mine by the wiring diagram for ea-ed i would assume ef-el should be basically the same.

started doing my brakes this arvo
started at the back, got one off, and painted the new ones hub and the caliper, while they were drying i decided to pull the other one off, and it doesn't want a bar of it! won't move at all, tried leavering it and hitting it with a rubber mallet and a dead blow hammer but she won't move, hand brake is off!

looks nice 8-) 8-) but did you remove the rust from the axle and the rotor bores,makes removal easy

ended up jaming a screw driver into the lip on the back, then levered it forward, slid another one in and then the tyre spanner and finally popped off
