work the SOHC might be easier n cheaper ?

well my started motor s**t it's self this afternoon, it sounded a little sus at work this afternoon and the car stuttered into life started it twice after that and it s**t itself at the servo when i was fueling up, thankfully so one gave me a push and she started straight up,

my brother is getting another starter for me tomorrow as he's got a week off from work

brand newie like the one in his ef that turns over at a thousand miles and hour compared to mine,

think i snapped the fork in the starter as it's spiing but not engaged so yeah

ahh ok

ive got a BA starter motor here brand new , im wanting to put into my EA but i can not for the life of me reach the top bolt , log manifold , ive done my EF a few times and an AU

but some reason the EA seems different

whats your plan of attack ?

either under eath or f**k load of exstentions to the front of the car and undo it from there

think under earth is the way i did mine , some how i got so good i could jam a big 8 inch extension some how and do it from uptop lol

went out last tuesday, but no pictures, the blokes 52 years old and is doin up and old xr wagon with. i was suprised at how much heat there is under the bonnet when i got out and could see the heat waves though the air
