got my bike today, looks like bas gasket exhaust gasket and piston rings and it will be running again, for less than 100 my mech reckons,
 me on my mates yz last weekend  and i'm thinkin of clamin land rights?

hybanating for the summer
 haha nah it's tucked away under the house till i can get bothered to work on it, got a week off then work exp then back to school for my last ever term

put a top end rebuild into my rm today,
 need to pull the flywheel off so i can reset the timming, seems like the problem from the begining was the rm's have a common problem of snapping the key steel in the key way and advancing or retarding the timing making it fire before or after tdc my bike, and my mates yz125 and other mates kx250f   the guy who sold me the bike now feels ripped off that i baught the bike for 250 and will have it running for less than 400 bucks including purchasing it haha |

turns out the bike company gave me the wrong plug so it wouldn't fire
 so now it's just a case of getting the timming right after i muched around with it today trying to get it to run right the trailer all loaded up this morning     will hopefully have some videos next time we head out Cheers Mitch |

That will get it to fire if something is slightly off or if the plug has fowled.

yeah, i'm pulling the carby off again tomorrow and going to try and adjust the float as it pours fuel out the over flow lines with in 30 seconds,
also getting a new plug tomorrow and trying to avoid the start ya barsted things |

i sprayed carby cleaner thought it, getting p****d off when i find stripped out bolts from when it's been pulled apart other times

My YZ125 was hard to start when I first got it, used to flood it before it'd start and id have to pull the spark plug out and clean it etc etc. I ended up buying a new spark plug even though the old one was 'okay' and it starts third kick each time now...
That's just from my experience I guess, could be anything I guess  Good luck!
