The Ute looks OK and is fairly decent considering it's a worker.
Agree about that crappy Ford bar on the front. |

I've been looking around for a AU front bumper in winter white but so far the ones I've found have either been damaged or the wrong shade of white. I could buy one and get it painted I guess but with winter white being such a common colour I'm bound to find the perfect front bumper eventually.

Another small update...
I flushed out the cooling system and put fresh Nulon coolant in, I also installed a large transmission oil cooler today along with white reflectors for the rear bumper and a AU Tickford centre cap to block off the intake where the resonator was. The white reflectors in the rear bumper... The AU Tickford centre cap that now sits where the resonator once was... Last week I also put a set of chrome inner door handles in the ute along with a chrome T-Bar button...

I like the addition of the door handles, did the same to my AU 2 weeks ago. Good use of the tickford centre cap.
The reflectors are a good thing as well. |

The only thing I'm not too keen on is the Tickford badge on the centre cap...I feel weird putting a Tickford item on a non Tickford engine

I was looking at some pics on Ford Forums and I found one of an AU XR8 that has the saqme cap on his car that you added.

Seems like a pretty popular mod. It's simple yet effective.
I love that polished Explorer manifold.

Another update...
Today I got a early E Series 5.0 intake pipe and modified it to fit the sensor on my AU 5.0 and here's the result (Still need to clean it). I used the rubber grommet from the top radiator mount from a AU and the sensor fits in perfectly. This is what I was previously using...The original AU pipe with a AU Tickford wheel centre cap to block off where the resonator once was (This is for sale complete with the Tickford cap - PM me if interested).

My ute didn't come standard with factory rear speakers so I've been busy trying to hunt down a set of factory Ford rear speaker mounts that I can bolt in so I can run rear speakers. As of yet I have been unable to find a set of speaker mounts although I have tracked down a set of the proper speaker grills that clip into the trim...They happen to be the very same speaker grills that the sedans use for the rear parcel shelf speakers so that made it very easy to find.
As soon as I can find a set of rear speaker mounts I can get started on fitting rear speakers in the ute. I'll be sure to add pics of the installation process so it can help others in the same situation.
