Is yours a 'backyard' job? it is! lol its because im driving the car at the same time so its trying to get it painted and on the road at the same time, and yep getting done from home just slowly taking what bits i can off it and getting that sorted and getting the car undercoated in sections, plus the weather has been absolutely s**t so cant get f**k all done, wanting to get it done by november to take it down to the show in singleton so hopefully itll be done by that time if not i think it will become depressing lol how much longer do you think till you'll be back on the road?

Would you believe I'm getting d**k around trying to buy a new front bar FFS . So I've still got to spend another $300 just to get a std front bar and new lights yet... I'm actually looking at buying some deep dish 18x9s w 255s atm, if they dont go for too much I might just have to get them.. I rekon they'll just set the car off... but then I remember.... I'm broke!!!! |

I'm broke!!!! it does get frustrating but you shouldnt give up on it yet.. thats s**t about the front bar, can you get it elsewhere? or have you already organised it all?.. and dont you have 17" ba replica rims? if you get them you can sell the 17s then that'll give you something, i know what you mean with money nothings for free hey and you notice how everything you end up needing all needs to be done at the same time its annoying but good luck with the 18s though that would set the car off!

I dont want to give up, I just CBF at the moment.
Theres 3 places who can order new front bars (other than smash repairs who can get fukkkkd), one gave me a price but couldnt order for 2 weeks, the other 2 said they would call me back with prices. Yeh, hasnt happened yet, and I've called them again. I've got 17s atm, which I'll sell of if I get the 18s, hopefully only a hundred or two down if I get some half decent money for the 17s. My mate picked up his 18s for 600 bux with fairly good tryes, I'll be cheering if I can pick these up for that much! good luck with your car though, at least you've got progress! |

well weathers been s**t so can't paint the car until it stops raining.. hopefully next week 3 or 4 days of good weather would be nice!
picked up a set of clear repeaters today off a fairlane for 5 bucks from the wreckers just have to modify the moulds a bit, also been reading around my clutch is a bit heavy at times and i've read replacing the cable is a good idea.. wheres the best place to buy the cable from im not sure about the price of them so anyone have any ideas on how much they are? thanks
