I'd give it another week to be honest..... you don't want to rush them really.. They will just push it and might miss a couple of minor things that just brings you back yelling and screaming and they fix it and your back there next day for something diffrent....


:D I hate Mechanics... All they need to do is tell you .. " hey it's really going to be a little while to get things sorted"


But be worth the wait i recon!


So how much did you pick up the el xr6 for anyway?

yeh true....i guess the thing that made it worse was that i dropped it in there and it didnt get touched for a week and a half so i could of been driving it around all that time lol but yeh owell aslong as they get the job done.

I picked up the el xr6 for $6,000

hey hope to see u get your car soon.

i went down with stefan the other day to pick up his EF XR8 5spd he payed 5.9k for it he just needs to put a new clutch in it.

so you will be in a EL XR6T stefan in a EF XR8 5spd and me in the grandpa spec EF Fairmont ill have to get to work i rekon lol.

i was happy that my fairmont ate the a** of his EF in a drag tho lol

catch up soon cant wait to see the finished EL XR6T

yeah im dyin for it man....but yeh ive got a feeling that ill be getting it back on tuesday - wednesday...too bad i have to work otherwise id be down there watching it on the dyno :P

haha yeah man im nearly on my full lisence and dont wanna stuff anything up that could risk me getting my semi trailer lisence in a few months....so if i do the right thing, i shall get to where i wanna be :)

Ok guys well its the moment i and you guys have been waiting for...i picked my girl up tonight and was very excited as soon as i saw it. i couldnt get the smile off my face and still cant haha, let me know what ya think by the pictures and ill try answer all you questions :)

I would like to thank all the guys at heinrich performace for putting this beast together and most of all to Bruce. Bruce is amazing at what he does and id take my car back to him anyday...sooo bruce thanks a heap, and its because of you that i cant get this smile off my face :) :) amazing bloke..cheers once again

very nice, ive been keeping an eye on this thread and was wondering if you had it back yet and turns out you do :P think i missed it but what gearbox did you end up using?

Soon to be daily: 1995 EF Fairmont, mostly stock.

Restoration: 1997 ZH Fairlane 500, 351 auto.

Its just got a low k el t5 gearbox in it atm but later on will up grade to something from malwood, but the t5 is good for now :)

hey mate yeah i got it back on friday :) i have a low k t5 gearbox in there at the moment but later on i will go with something from malwood
