about 2 months ago i purchased an au ute. it had some problems: windscreen needed replacing, all tyres needed replacing, handbrake needed adjusting, headliner was f**k, and a few other little things, because of these things i got the car way cheaper!

so after i had it for a few weeks i noticed that it had a slight miss under load so i bought a new coil pack for it. the bloody location of that thing is stupid so i decided to move it! trying to find others that have done this was quite hard!! so i just rolled with whatever came into my head!

i ended up with this:

i drilled and tapped 2 m5x0.75 holes, and used 2 cap heads to secure it. after all of this i discovered it was number 6 spark plug lead so ill order a set form ebay 8.0mm blue ones.

anyway hopefully i'll be adding little updates on this thread..... someone/ something might find it useful!!

cheers,
fullyforded

as it is damn easier to change the leads !
i would have put it not ont he rocker cover though, its the heat that can kill them...
maybe on the passenger side of the intake manifold

might be an idea to cut the plug off and then extend the wiring to the cut off plug and make it look neat

I put it there because I couldn't be bothered to put it where it came from! I was trying to find somewhere else but really couldn't, the heat issue did come to mind so on Monday I'm gonna turn up some spacers to help heat dissipation.

I was thinking though would the rocker cover really get as hot as the point that it was mounted to? Everything gets hot in the engine bay ( wow that sound stupid)

well didnt have much to do today being off work "sick" allergic reaction to methanol... so i decided to paint the rocker cover. I know it isn't exactly a groundbreaking mod but hey a mod is a mod is a mod!!
